Stagecoach East Midlands 37005 (27.02.2022)

A couple of Enviro 200's made Pronto appearances today, one after being on multiple routes, with this one on all day! 37005 departs Victoria Bus Station on a Pronto to Mansfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 11278 (28.02.2022)

One of five newer MMC's Stagecoach operate in Mansfield as it is, this particular example is of the same spec as the four others for the Pronto route except it features Stagecoach colors instead. 11278 arrives at Victoria Bus Station with a Pronto from Mansfield.

Trent Barton 217 (27.02.2022)

Mango in the Sun...

217, a Mango spare MMC, is seen on Melton Road with The Keyworth to Keyworth.

 Trent Barton 217 (25.02.2022)

The one other spare out on The Keyworth today was 14 years newer than the Scania that saw use on there, as illustrated here. 217, a Mango spare MMC, is seen arriving at Mount Street with a late running service on The Keyworth from Keyworth.

Trent Barton 657 (26.02.2022)

Due to cancellations later on the day on this route involving the former Sixes Scania, only a part-time appearance was possible as a result. 657 is seen at Mount Street waiting to form its next run on The Keyworth to Keyworth before departing on the southbound service.

Trent Barton 657 (26.02.2022)

The Sun was well out when this Solar made its appearance, so before I got onboard, a snap of the bus was required, as illustrated here. 657 arrives at Mellors Road bus stop on Melton Road with The Keyworth to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 725 (26.02.2022)

After the Keyworth branded Volvo of 729 came off the route, one of the red spare Volvos filled its shoes on the last three journeys after having finished work on the Skylink Express route. 725 heads on Melton Road with The Keyworth to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 744 (26.02.2022)

Due to a possible Indigo appearance from one of the Skylink Express branded Scanias, two spares were in use on the Skylink Express, the usual PVR as a whole being four, three during the middle of the day and most of the evening, and both of the red Volvos based at Manvers Street were the vehicles of choice on this occasion. 744 is seen on departure from Nottingham with a Skylink Express service to East Midlands Airport. In the end, this bus replaced 131, an i4 branded MMC, on the i4 route for a couple of journeys or two.

Trent Barton 471 (26.02.2022)

Following on from the withdrawal from all but one of the classic Solos, the remaining ones left with Trent Barton are primarily compromised of former Nines and Radcliffe Line variations, as illustrated here. 471 is seen arriving into Nottingham with a 21 from Heanor.

Wednesday 23 February 2022

Trent Barton 730 (23.02.2022)

Good to see the former Mickleover Volvos having been temporarily back in this area since their withdrawal from The Cotgrave. A different color to normal here though sees pink Keyworth branded 730 on Davies Road as it works an off route service to Keyworth.

Nottingham City Transport 918 'Les Roome' (23.02.2022)

With most of the spare OmniDekkas running on borrowed time now, the mainstay of the fleet will then turn to Enviro 400's in both the diesel and bio-gas variations, so even the 61 plate OmniDekkas are worth getting, of which this ended up on the 10 due to the branded bio-gas bus of 405 ending up on the afternoon A2. 918 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with an off route 10C to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 613 (23.02.2022)

Now in the new style spare livery, 613, an ADL Enviro 400, is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with an off route navy 4 service to Clifton Campus.

Nottingham City Transport 337 (23.02.2022)

With the pink 30/31 Solo SR's now surplus to requirement on the route, the ones still in the livery for the routes can end up on anything since they're now spare. 337 heads on Davies Road with an off route extra 5 to Gamston, the 9B ahead of this bus with the new style spare Solo SR of 352 having been terminated before Trent Bridge due to its closure.

Nottingham City Transport 646 (23.02.2022)

South Notts in the West!

646, an ADL Enviro 400 for the South Notts 1 route in the revised livery, is seen on Davies Road close to the center of West Bridgford with an off route 1 to East Leake.

Nottingham City Transport 408 (23.02.2022)
A bio-gas bus on Davies Road is something you don't normally see nowadays although they were often common on this stretch of road in 2020 when some of the Bridgford Bus services in the 8 and the 7 were reintroduced. A different story here though sees 408 branded up for the green 10 route approach the end of Davies Road on an off route 10 to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 342 (23.02.2022)

What could have been a spare Solo SR on the Bridgford Bus 7 route turned out to be a spare Solo SR on the navy 3 route! Well off route on the 3 on this particular route of the 7 is well worth documenting nonetheless! 342 heads on Davies Road with an off route 3 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 929 (23.02.2022)

Due to the closure of Trent Bridge for two hours through a police incident, numerous buses were diverted, so I was on hand to document some of them as a result. 929 turns off of Davies Road and approaches Central Avenue in West Bridgford with an off route 4 to Clifton Campus.

Nottingham City Transport 351 (22.02.2022)

Other unusual workings from today on terms of different color on a different colored route included a yellow Solo SR on the extra booked navy 3, a pink Solo SR on the blue 40/41/42 followed on by the extra 9B and this pink Solo SR on the 11! 351 turns into Angel Row with an 11 to Lady Bay. Of note, 350, a pink 30/31 Solo SR now turned new style spare had been out on this route as well but the new style spare Solo SR of 353 took over from it in the end.

Nottingham City Transport 333 (22.02.2022)

After the Bridgford Bus branded MMC of 302 came off the 5, one of the green 11 branded Solo SR's came out to play, as illustrated here. 333 is seen on Lower Parliament Street ahead of working a 5 to Gamston.

Tuesday 22 February 2022

Nottingham City Transport 636 (22.02.2022)

Despite the appearance from a green 11 branded Solo SR on the Bridgford Bus 5 route, the Bridgford Bus 6 route with this Enviro 400 spare was given the honors at taking me back from Nottingham. 636 is seen on Gordon Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 636 (22.02.2022)

Once the new bio-gas buses arrive to eventually oust the 10/11 plate OmniDekkas, these Enviro 400's are expected to be the mainstay of the spare fleet alongside the bio-gas spares. 636 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 636 (22.02.2022)

Also on the 6 today was something slightly more normal for a cover allocation in the shape of a diesel E400, as illustrated here. 636 turns into Angel Row with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 406 (22.02.2022)

I hope no-one boarded this wanting Ruddington...

406, a green 10 branded bio-gas Scania, is unusually pictured at the front bus stand on Lower Parliament Street with a Bridgford Bus 6 service to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 406 (22.02.2022)

After NCT got wires crossed about which bus to put onto the Bridgford Bus 6 route, one of the bio-gas buses from the green 10 route was put out it, as illustrated here. 406 is seen on Trevor Road Top with a 6 to City Loop. Of note, 401 ended up on one of the morning A2 workings with 404 on the second of the extra 1's and then the navy 48 route.

Nottingham City Transport 404 (22.02.2022)

A fair few random allocations came about, of which at least two were booked workings, 404 being on one of the booked ones, it seen heading to Parliament Street out of service having just brought in the second of the two extra 1's. In the end, this bio-gas bus happened to end up on the navy 48 route late on but it was well out of my reach, hence why only this snap was possible.

Trent Barton 725 (21.02.2022)

After one of the usual i4 branded MMC's came off, one of the red spare Volvos came out to play, as illustrated here. 725 is seen on Maid Marian Way on an anticlockwise run back to its origin point, Friar Lane ready to do the next i4 to Sandiacre.

Trent Barton 506 (21.02.2022)

Seen looking resplendent in red, 506, an Optare Solo SR, brings a service on The Keyworth into Nottingham from Keyworth.
