M/S Irini (09.09.2022)

First time photted by me since repaint into its new livery, which has seen the all white livery replaced by the mainly black and white livery, as illustrated here. M/S Irini, currently the only old vimtage boat present in Chania since the Thia Maro was taken out of service, is seen at Chania Harbour awaiting its first turn of duty.

Manos Cruises (09.09.2022)

A more newer addition to the passenger sailings is this boat operated by Manos Cruises and today saw me catch up with it, of which seen here at Lazaretta Island for a stop whilst on a one hour trip.

Chania Boat Trips - Evagelos II (09.09.2022)

Built similar to a semi-submarine but this is in fact a non-glass bottom double-decker boat despite its open center and it is operated on behalf of Chania Boat Trips, as illustrated here. Evagelos II as she's known is seen heading out of its resting place in Chania Harbor ready to set sail on its first run to Lazaretta Island.

Chania Boat Trips - Alexandros Glass Bottom Boat (09.09.2022)

Built in 2015, this is the newest Glass Bottom Boat in Chania on terms of age, the oldest one of Katerina NX591 and the short serving Petalida glass bottom boat having both been withdrawn. Alexandros is seen heading out of its base and towards its main stand to await its first turn of duty.

Chania Boat Trips - Erofili Glass Bottom Boat (09.09.2022)

Though of a similar spec to Captain Nestor, this is of a slightly different shame and is slightly bigger as well, as illustrated here. Erofili comes out of its resting place in Chania Harbor ready to take a day out on the sea.

Built in 2007, Erofili is the second newest glass bottom boat in the fleet operated by Chania Boat Trips and it has new bold dark red branding for it too, as illustrated here. Erofili is seen leaving Lazaretta Island after its scheduled stop with a sailing back to Chania Harbor.

Complete with a full compliment of passengers on board, Erofili, a Chania Boat Trips operated Glass Bottom Boat, docks at Chania harbour with its next turn of duty.

Captain Nestor Glass Bottom Boat Aphrodite (09.09.2022)

Same boat, same name but now run by Captain Nestor. Seen arriving empty to its starting point ahead of an 11:00 departure to Lazaretta Island.

What was originally Captain Nick's Glass Bottom Boat is no more now as Aphrodite is now run by Captain Nestor, the boat itself of which is seen at Chania harbor having brought a sailing in from Lazaretta Island. This boat was the one that took me and my mum and dad there and back.

Stella Glass Bottom Boat (09.09.2022)

Before the sailings came the preparation for the newest painted Glass Bottom Boat, as illustrated here. Stella Glass Bottom Boat is seen on an empty move to its start point ready for its first sailing of the day to Lazaretta Island.

The one small boat that parks up at the harbor with its cab facing towards the path is the now newly named Stella Glass Bottom Boat, which is seen there having brought in a sailing from Lazaretta Island.

Originally in two different mainly white color schemes, then red and now this! At least it matches the sea for once!

Stella is seen at Lazaretta Island for its scheduled stop before departing back out to Chania Harbour.

A recent repaint in either 2020, 2021 or 2022 is that of the ex-Fanourios Glass Bottom Boat and now with a new name to boot, as illustrated here. Stella in its fantastic new dark turquoise livery is seen departing from Chania Harbor with a sailing to Lazaretta Island.

Sea Adventures Greece (09.09.2022)

While Agios Nikolaos in Crete has the Creta Semi-Submarine in yellow and blue, Chania in Crete has a smaller red submarine which predominantly sees use on trips inside the harbor, as illustrated here. Seen on the jete, the red submarine with the face and eyes on it rests awaiting its possible first turn of duty.

Kinchbus 501 (25.08.2022)

Before the unexpected Versa appearance on the 9, the sole Solo SR with Kinchbus was out on there, as illustrated here. 501, new to the Rushcliffe Greens for Trent Barton prior to becoming a Rushcliffe Villager with the same company followed on by the Spondon Flyer before transfer over to Kinchbus, is seen on Carrington Street with a 9 from Loughborough.
