While the service that runs the 11:54 service to Newark Castle from Matlock at Nottingham Station and the 13:20 service to Matlock from Newark Castle at Nottingham Station, this service usually uses a double pairing of 153's. Today, however, saw this 156 right here, making for something a bit different to normal! 156401 is seen here on platform 3B having arrived with the 13:20 service to Matlock.
