Over on green 5 two Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR buses were utilised as usual for the main workings on the route today. As for the 17:20 peak-time departure, that also used a Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR rather than a spare bus or a bus of a different colour! Considering the peak-time 9B used a Brown Line ADL Enviro 200, to see this Bridgford Bus Optare Solo SR on the peak-time 5 is actually quite something! 360 is seen here on Melton Road with the peak-time 5 to Gamston, the route actually running with a proper green branded bus for once!
