Following on from the withdrawal of the Ruddington Connection service, the two Optare Solo SRs for the route were repainted as red spares and sent to a new home in Langley Mill. Today saw one of the two unusually do work on the Calverton Connection service, a route normally operated by Scania Wright-Solars! 499 is unusually seen here just toward the right of the photo at the bus stop on Calverton Connection, the next service being a Calverton service.
