Yes, I found out that East Midlands Trains buffet car 40728 was refurbished as I saw it today. You'd think this VTEC buffet car would no longer be needed right? Wrong. This buffet car moved swiftly from one set to another in the space of one or two days over the last weekend or so. East Midlands Trains buffet car 40749 had definitely been on this set on Sunday but that was swapped for this buffet car, presumably overnight. While I saw saw this buffet car on Monday, I saw it today too and for a Friday as well! 40751 is seen here in East Midlands Trains formation on the first East Midlands Trains repainted set whilst deputising for the dedicated buffet car for this set, 40749.
