During the day on Nottingham/London St Pancras services, it is usually three HST sets that stick around on the next day from the previous one, sometimes four on occasion, with two new HST sets that didn't operate on the previous day tending to come in the next day although on occasion it can be just one new HST set that comes in rather than two. One of the HST sets that stuck around today from the previous day was the one with this Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car, as here illustrates. 40751 is seen here in East Midlands Trains formation in an East Midlands Trains HST set, the set itself spending another day at the office on the Nottingham/London St Pancras services. A mix and match set here I think on this one.
