Due to the fact that East Midlands Trains branded buffet 40730, the dedicated buffet for this set, is currently on a different set while 40728 continues to be out of action for maintenance/refurbishment, this Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car has not strayed away from this particular set. Today saw the set itself on the 10:32 service to London St Pancras, meaning a 16:30 run via Luton was on the cards as a result. 40751 is seen here in East Midlands Trains formation at Nottingham Station, the set itself enjoying a rest before heading back out to London St Pancras.
