The first visit for train and tram spotting for 2018 was at Nottingham Station, where it was back to the usual normal weekday service as far as services to London St Pancras were concerned, with five HST sets allocated to the fast services and five 222 Meridian sets allocated to the slow stopper services. One such set allocated was this one here, which featured a declassified first class coach and this spare standard class coach, as illustrated here. 42384 is seen here in East Midlands Trains formation at Notingham Station, the set itself resting in between trips to/from London St Pancras.
