Following news that the electrification of the Midland Mainline was scrapped, the East Midlands Trains rail franchise is due to run until August 2019, when a new bid will be announced on who will take over the franchise. For the time being though, the Stagecoach group continue to operate the rail franchise. 222104 is seen here on platform 1A at Nottingham Station in between ECS movements to/from Derby Etches Park.
