East Midlands Trains 43467 'Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service' and 'British Transport Police Nottingham' (12.02.2018)

Over at Nottingham Station today, an event was held there today to name an HST brand new to East Midlands Trains in honour of the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and British Transport Police Nottingham after the fire there in January. The power car attending the event was a former Grand Central HST in the form of 43467 and it was given two nameplates, one on each side of the train. While the older East Midlands Trains HST's have the standard blue, red, orange and white colour scheme, there is more blue in the newer variant and compared to the older VP185 powered HST's, the newer variant is MTU powered and it also has buffers from its old Grand Central days. All HST's from Grand Central, including this one, are being given a new lease of live in operating for East Midlands Trains and while most of the HST's will enter service in March, this HST was on its first day in passenger service in operating the 15:32 service to London St Pancras.
These nine photos shown here are of the East Midlands Trains power car itself in the form of 43467 as it attends the event.
