The train and tram spotting action at Nottingham Station on 20.02.2018 was certainly on and the passenger services that turned up weren't all that bad, however, only two of the four all over advertising Bombardier Incentro Trams made an appearance, so a little bit disappointing there. There was, though, lots of the usual workings although the Liverpool services had pretty much just 158's, including 158889. Although not in these shots, 153's and 156's are to usually be seen. The HST's and 222's for East Midlands Trains were repetitive but I guess nothing can go wrong with those and something that can't be faulted at all is the appearance of the Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car. The freight trains were probably the pick of the bunch though and even a Colas Railfreight class 70 made an appearance too! Although not really in these shots here, you do see Northern and Cross Country services, which today were rather repetitive, more especially with Northern pretty much just using 158's. While Northern tends to mostly have 158's appearing at Nottingham Station, you do get the odd 150 or two and if you are lucky, maybe even 153's! In the early morning, a Cross Country service to Bournemouth is booked as a class 220 or 221 Voyager, otherwise it's class 170's pretty much all the way.
