With the buses on Bridgford Bus not of any interest to me, I decided to do a full day of train and tram spotting at Nottingham Station. During my day there, East Midlands Trains HST set NL04, also with declassified first class, unfortunately didn't turn up on a day I wanted it to. This set here with this Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car did turn up though, so one such thing I did want did turn up at least! 40751 is seen here sandwiched in between what is an otherwise full rake of East Midlands Trains Mark III's as the set rests at Nottingham Station.
For those of you interested in the set in full, then it looked like this: 43083 (EMT), 41117 (EMT), 41046 (EMT), 40751 (VTEC), 42220 (EMT), 42100 (EMT), 42230 (EMT), 42124 (EMT), 44085 (EMT), 43055 (EMT).
