While this Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car actually belongs to East Midlands Trains, it was given a repaint for use with the other rake of former East Midlands Trains Mark III's before it and Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car 40805 changed hands, so 40805, having been originally on hire to East Midlands Trains to begin with, was swapped for 40751 in the former East Midlands Trains set on loan to Virgin Trains East Coast, so 40751 took over as the loan coach for East Midlands Trains. 40751 is seen here in an East Midlands Trains set at Nottingham Station on platform 6.
