While the new East Midlands Trains HST's have the newer MTU engines in them, the older ones here still have the VP185 engine and in my eyes, the old HST's are the best by far on terms of engine type! You can't beat a VP185 engine whatsoever in my eyes, so MTU's lose and VP185's win, or that's how I rate them on terms of win or lose! In this shot here, 43064 is seen leaving Nottingham on platform 7 with a service bound for London St Pancras.
