So then, a new timetable has now commenced and I decided on a day at Nottingham Station to see what would turn up and I found out that the former six car Grand Central HST sets entered service today although with one exception to them with former First Great Western (now Great Western Railway) buffet cars included as a result of the Grand Central ones not being deemed suitable for the sets themselves. I must say though that I have waited a while for this and today certainly worked out with this six car HST set. In this one, 43467 is first seen arriving at Nottingham Station on platform 6 with 43468 on the rear with a terminating service from London St Pancras after which the power cars are seen departing on an ECS movement to Derby Etches Park.
