Nottingham Trains and Trams (04.05.2018)

Apart from the top tram shot taken from the Lace Market area of Nottingham, it's all about Nottingham Station with the trains providing all but one of the shots. No freight in this one as although I did see someone from DB Cargo UK, no Kingsbury-Humber freight in the end, so the clue wasn't in there on this occasion. Today's oddities amongst the more regular workings looked like this, as seen in ascending order, mostly on departure times, starting with a 150/2 on the Leeds runs, followed on by a 153 on the Liverpool service, then a 222 on the Lincoln/Leicester local stopping services, followed on then by a 156 on the Liverpool service and then finally a 158 on the Mansfield Woodhouse/Worksop runs. Yes, the 222 counts as an oddity in my case on this one! One note from today is that the seven car HST set with power cars 43076 and 43047 was no more and back to a more usual standard eight car set as spare standard class coach 42384 was available for it after coming off a different set following on from a replacement by one of the dedicated coaches from it in the form of 42157, which made its way onto a different set whilst one of their dedicated branded coaches was having its bogies (aka. wheel sets) sorted out.
