Well then, I wonder what happened here with the Liverpool-Norwich service? Well, the service was split in a way, with 156415 coming in from Norwich and 158780 and 158846 coming in from Liverpool Lime Street. There could have been a 156/158 combo today here but East Midlands Trains had other ideas, so what happened was a 158 in the form of what I believe was 158854 was kept in the sidings for longer and that to allow 156415 to go back to Norwich and 158780 and 158846 to go back to Liverpool Lime Street. Some of the action can be illustrated here in these shots and if you think a 156 can't go back to Norwich, think again as that's what happened here!
