Given the Rushcliffe Greens service was replaced by Rushcliffe Mainline (then Mainline) and Rushcliffe Villager, the Optare Solo SR's of 501-5 were repainted for use on the Rushcliffe Villager, which did see the V2 withdrawn, hence 501-3 being repainted for the Spondon Flyer. As for this Optare Solo SR here, this one was repainted into the red spare livery and one advertising the older Mango ticket, as illustrated here. 506 is seen here on Carrington Street with a V1 service.
