With the Goose Fair at the Forest Recreation Ground and the football on at the City Ground, some buses were running late and therefore it meant on occasions, a layover at a suitable bus stop, as illustrated here with 336, a pink 30/31 branded Optare Solo SR, it seen laying over at the distant Co-Op bus stop on Bridgford Road to start a Bridgford Bus 7 service to Gamston from there before then heading towards and then on Bridgford Road there for a stop as it works the amended service.
