Despite the fact that 357, a Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR, did purple 87/88 for the very early morning only, possibly morning peaks at that, this other one of the two spare Optare Solo SR's also stayed out on Bridgford Bus anyway and a tick in the book here it is as well as 345 in the new style spare livery is seen in numerous shots with 5's to/from Gamston. 342, a new style spare Optare Solo SR, had been out on navy 3 but moved to this route to replace the 11 plate Optare Solo SR of 330 for Bridgford Bus. I can only assume that 346 was available for service for the navy 3 route in the end. At least 342 didn't just operate one route mind!
