It was in 2017 that the bio-gas order for NCT commenced, with the first five, four for the Bridgford Bus 6 route and two for the spare pool being the first to enter service. 427 is one of the spares that came with the first batch of new bio-gas buses and here, it is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 6 to City Loop.
