West Coast Railways 57313 'Scarborough Castle'/57314 (03.07.2021)

A Northern Belle railtour was on the cards today, with the Nottingham-Carnforth and the Hellifield GL-Nottingham runs being diesel hauled in the forms of 57314+57313, with LMS steam locomotive 6201 'Princess Elizabeth' running the Carlisle-Carnforth D&UGL and Carnforth D&UGL-Carlisle sections of the tour assisted by 57314 and with the support coach from 34067 'Tangmere' in it... somehow! Though the steam bits weren't on the Nottingham sections, the fact that the tour was running there meant that I had the chance to catch up with it if it was the diesels only and I opted for the later on arrival and empty coaching stock departure, as illustrated. 57313 in the revised Northern Belle livery and 57314 in the revised West Coast Railways livery arrive at Nottingham with the final leg of the tour from Hellifield GL before then heading on the empty coaching stock to Burton on Trent Wetmore Sidings. Note the Pullman liveried mark I in the consist.

The full consist as seen on arrival:
99025 'Amber'
3174  'Glamis'
3273 'Alnwick'
1566 'Caerdydd'
3267 'Belvoir'
3275 'Harlech'
3247 'Chatsworth'
325 'Duart'
17167 'Mow Cop'
10729 'Crewe'
10734 'Balmoral'
