A trip to Ruddington to see the first train leave the GCRN since its reopening after the completion of upgrade works was on the cards today, with a class 08 shunter in charge of proceedings. 08784 is seen leaving Ruddington with its first service bound for 50 Steps Bridge, the mark II leading and acting as a DVT.
