London Northeastern Railway 82212/91114 'Durham Cathedral' (22.11.2022)

Seen at Newark Northgate, ox-blood red liveried 91114 propels a service from York-London Kings Cross led by DVT 82212 as it arrives and departs the station.

London Northeastern Railway 91107 'Skyfall'/82205 'Flying Scotswoman' (22.11.2022)

A first trip for me to Newark Northgate today was on the cards to see what was on offer and there were plenty of 225 sets running around, a couple of which still in the old Virgin Trains East Coast red and white livery, such as this! 91107 storms through Newark Northgate with an InterCity 225 service from London Kings Cross-Leeds, DVT 82205 on the rear.

East Midlands Railway 170418 (21.11.2022)

Plenty of Turbos about with EMR now, a majority of them now in purple, such as this! 170418 is seen leaving Mansfield on a service to Worksop from Nottingham. In the end, this was swapped with 158854, which came off the Liverpool services late on to work on here.

East Midlands Railway 170923 (21.11.2022)

Southern in Mansfield...

170923, EMR branded but still in Southern colors, is seen at Mansfield with a service from Worksop to Nottingham.

Stagecoach East Midlands 18355 (21.11.2022)

A mismatching liveried ALX400 Trident with Local livery on the base of the bus and Beachball livery on the roof and it may not be the only example like this one would assume!?

18355 is seen at Mansfield Bus Station having earlier worked a Pronto from Chesterfield, which was bound for Nottingham but terminated at Mansfield due to a shortage of available bus drivers. In the end, this bus headed back up to Chesterfield to start a service for Nottingham on this route before later moving to the 1 after having caped the 15:40 Chesterfield service from Nottingham at Mansfield.

Stagecoach East Midlands 11278 (21.11.2022)

Though supposedly for Pronto use, which it did do late on, today it being in Beachball livery means it can end up anywhere, as illustrated here. 11278 is seen leaving Mansfield Bus Station with a 7 to Oak Tree Tesco.

Stagecoach East Midlands 11276 (21.11.2022)

It's not often that the Prontos get used elsewhere in Mansfield but at least three or four were today, some after working the Pronto and today on this occasion saw me bag a 69 plate on the Mansfield Miller, as illustrated here. 11276 leaves Mansfield Bus Station with a 1 from Huthwaite to Mansfield Woodhouse.

Nottingham City Transport 603 (14.11.2022)

Adding a bit of color to the 6 today was the Pride E400, as illustrated here. 603 waits at Victoria Centre ready to do a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 428 (14.11.2022)

Following on from the possible failure of the Bridgford Bus branded bio-gas Scania of 403 so early on, one of the native 17 plate bio-gas spares was quickly dispatched onto the route to help out. 428 is seen on Gordon Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

GBRF 66737 'Lesla' (09.11.2022)

With a big 3 and a big 7 for the loco number on the sides of the train to boot, GBRF's 66737 passes Nottingham with a load of empty container flats from Peterborough Main Shed GBRF-East Midlands Gateway.

GWR Castle Class 7029 'Clun Castle' (08.11.2022)

Seen at Nottingham, GWR Castle Class no. 7029 'Clun Castle' trails an empty coaching stock move led by 47773 from Tyseley Steam Trust-Peterborough.

Nottingham City Transport 635 (02.11.2022)

Though not seen when the OmniDekkas were the mainstay of Bridgford Bus and the 6, the diesel E400 Scanias started appearing on this route when brand new bio-gas Scanias became the mainstay of this route. Now a more common sight these days on here along with the bio-gas spares as and when required as a result of the storage of the OmniDekkas of 901-6, it makes a change to the usual green bio-gas Scanias! 635 makes this particular change here as it waits at Wellin Lane terminus in Edwalton in between journeys on the 6.

Nottingham City Transport 635 (02.11.2022)

Now that the OmniDekkas of 901-906 are now in store at Parliament Street for potential future use, the E400 Scanias are now the mainstay of the fleet of diesel spares and can be found on any double-decker route, as illustrated here. 635 is seen at Victoria Centre with the blind set for the next 6 to Edwalton.

East Midlands Railway 170922 (01.11.2022)

A couple of recent entries into service with East Midlands Railway are that of some ex-Southern class 170's, which are expected to retain their current livery until next year when the new paintwork gets applied and new couplers get fitted to replace the current Dellner couplers that these have. 170922 is seen at Nottingham resting in between duties before leaving on the 12:25 service to Worksop.
