Nottinghamshire County Council 0051 (31.10.2024)

Nottsbus on Demand... except it's not on demand as we see 0051 (RX71 TNK), a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter EVM Cityline, on the 33 as it waits on Friar Lane to form the next service to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0048 'Eco Buzz' (31.10.2024)

As I thought this board was to be operated with a minibus today, I set out to find out what was on it and I noticed that another BYD was out on it for something more normal at last! 0048 (LJ18 FGX) is seen leaving Nottingham with a 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0071 (31.10.2024)

The electric bus action was back on the 33 at last today after days of minibus only operation, with me being able to catch up with both allocations today. 0071 (LG71 DJJ) is seen leaving Nottingham on a 33 to Radcliffe.

Trent Barton 506 (31.10.2024)

A couple of red spares were out on The Calverton today, with the Eclipse of 725 plus this red spare Solo SR doing the rounds. 506 is seen on Upper Parliament Street ready to do the next Calverton to Calverton.

Trent Barton 713 (31.10.2024)

Although this did end up on the Indigo today, it ended up on the morning and late afternoon and evening boards although I was still able to catch up with it late on before tea, as illustrated here. 713 arrives into Nottingham with an Indigo from Long Eaton.

Trent Barton 669 (31.10.2024)

Whilst the Mango Eclipse of 741 did replace the branded MMC of 127 on the Skylink Nottingham, its availability for service again meant that this red Scania had to come off in turn later on but not before I could catch up with it early on. 669 arrives into Broadmarsh Bus Station with a Skylink Nottingham to East Midlands Gateway.

Trent Barton 741 (31.10.2024)

A second snap of the Mango that was on the Mainline came about when it did the Skylink Nottingham, as illustrated here. 741 is seen on Canal Street with a Skylink Nottingham to East Midlands Airport.

Trent Barton 741 (31.10.2024)

Whilst the late Keyworth Eclipse on the Mainline was pleasing to the eye, a morning appearance from a Mango one was certainly the same, with me being able to catch up with it well prior to being replaced by the branded MMC of 114 at lunch. 741 is seen at Victoria Embankment with a Mainline to Bingham.

Trent Barton 728 (31.10.2024)

Following reports that a Keyworth had escaped onto the Mainline for a round trip after Mainline branded 111 was temporarily replaced before being declared available for service again, I set out late to catch up with the pink Eclipse on its final run from Bingham. 728 is unusually seen in West Bridgford Town Centre on a Mainline from Bingham. In the end, this bus was on its own route of The Keyworth all day before the unusual move to the Mainline right at the end.

Central Connect 208 (29.10.2024)

Still Vectare branded, 208, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter EVM Cityline, is seen in Nottingham with a terminating 92 service from Newark Northgate.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0051 (29.10.2024)

The newest vehicles in use with NCC are a batch of seven Mercedes-Benz Sprinter EVM Cityline minibuses, featuring rear barn doors, leather seating, automatic gearbox and DAB radio as standard. 0051 (RX71 TNK), now branded as a Nottsbus on Demand vehicle, is seen leaving Nottingham on a 33 to Radcliffe, these being a common sight on the route since being preferred to it more when needed compared to the many Fiats that Nottsbus have in their overall fleet.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0088 (29.10.2024)

Seems like this Mellor Merc has seen better days but it's the end of British summer time and it's to be expected I guess, as can be seen here as the minibus itself in the form of 0088 (DF66 PSU) waits on Friar Lane to form the next 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0044 (29.10.2024)

The 33 of late has seen three different types of minibus on the route and today was no exception, with one Cityline Merc, one Mellor Merc and this Fiat, also a Mellor example, on the route. 0044 is seen on Friar Lane ready to form the next 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0043 (29.10.2024)

Most Fiats tend to be listed on bustimes, hence why they see more passenger use, as illustrated here. 0043 (SJ67 SVX) is seen at Beeston with a 510 to Stapleford.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0080 (29.10.2024)

Making for something different on the 510 is 0080 (SC65 HFO) as it terminates at Beeston with a 510 from Stapleford.

Nottinghamshire County Council SF64 CZL (28.10.2024)

For a minibus that isn't listed on bustimes, it's unusual to see it on passenger runs but here we see SF64 CZL at Beeston waiting to form a 536 to Toton.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0018 (29.10.2024)

Every little helps as 0018 (SF64 CZG) fills up at the Tesco petrol station in Beeston.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0071 (28.10.2024)

Most of the electric buses with Nottsbus have disappeared of late, hence the 33 having seen predominat minibus operation instead and none were in the Queen's Drive park and ride site when I looked today expect for this one of the 71 plates, as illustrated here. 0071 (LG71 DJJ) is seen at the park and ride site in the charging hub as it awaits a reentry into passenger traffic.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0039 (28.10.2024)

A rare occurrence at the Ecolink hub for a diesel powered Fiat sees 0039 (SJ67 SVU) parked up at the site in what is usually a designated electric charging bay.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0081 (SG68 XYU) (29.10.2024)

Nottinghamshire County Council 0080/0083 (28.10.2024)

It's not always that we see the 65 plate Fiats come one behind the other whether they are at base or in service but here we see 0080 (SC65 HFO) parked up alongside 0083 (SC65 HFS) as they both presumably await their first turn of duty.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0047 (SJ67 SWN)/0043 (SJ67 SVX) (28.10.2024)

Nottinghamshire County Council 0088 (DF66 PSU)/YX12 CKK (28.10.2024)

Nottinghamshire County Council 0043 (28.10.2024)

Whilst me and my mate were waiting for the demo on the 6, one of NCC's Fiats in the white livery turned up on the 33. 0043 (SJ67 SVX) is seen leaving Nottingham on a 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0088 (DF66 PSU) (28.10.2024)

Nottinghamshire County Council 0088 (29.10.2024)

DF66 PSU seen leaving Nottingham on a 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0051 (28.10.2024)

One reason that more manual gearbox Fiats have seen use on the 510/511 runs is with the automatic gearbox Mercs preferring to see use on the 33 as was the case today with two of them, 0051, a Cityline example, one such, it seen in West Bridgford with a 33 to Radcliffe.

Nottinghamshire County Council 0051 (28.10.2024)

While these are intended for the Nottsbus on Demand services, NCC have been tending to use them on other routes too, as illustrated here. 0051 (RX71 TNK) is seen in West Bridgford with a 33 to Radcliffe.

Trent Barton 504 (28.10.2024)

One service which, somehow, still exists under Trent is the Rushcliffe Villager, which goes the long way from Nottingham to Bingham from Radcliffe via Shelford, Gunthorpe, East Bridgford and Newton using a pair of dedicated Solo SRs, only now a pair since the axing of the V2. 504 is seen in West Bridgford with a Rushcliffe Villager to Newton.
