Nottingham City Transport 209 (31.03.2025)

Proudly displaying its E-on advert on the rear, Yutong E12 209 branded for the 39 waits on Queen Street to form a 42 to St Ann's.

Nottingham City Transport 259 (31.03.2025)

Given the 39 usually prefers long wheelbase E12's to cope with more passengers using the service nearer the City at peak-times, it seems strange seeing a 40/41/42 branded E10 on it although all the more better given the more animated style displays, which aren't present on the E12 examples. 259 is seen outside Victoria Centre with a 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 209/259 (31.03.2025)

A strange flip on the blue network today saw a 39 branded E12 on the 40/41/42 and a 40/41/42 branded E10 out on the 39, both of which were snapped in one shot! 209 is seen leaving Queen Street with a 40 to City Hospital whilst 259 waits to depart with a 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 354 'Helen Richardson-Walsh' (31.03.2025)

A fair few short formations on the longer wheelbase routes were present today, most notably on this 39 when this Solo SR spare was put to use on it all day, as illustrated here. 354 waits on Queen Street in readiness for its next 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 212 (31.03.2025)

A part-timer on one form of blue network soon turned to a part-timer on another form of blue network for this Yutong E12, as illustrated here. 212 is seen on Queen Street ready to do the next 39 to Carlton Valley. In the end, this bus replaced the blue 39 branded variant of 209 on here.

Nottingham City Transport 212 (31.03.2025)

One of the pair of E12 spares managed a part-timer on the 48 today, as illustrated here. 212 is seen on Beastmarket Hill with a 48 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 217 (31.03.2025)

The tail end of Yutong E12 213, seen at Beastmarket Hill ready to do the next service to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 637 (31.03.2025)

It didn't take long for an ex-48 to be running on the route again, not helped by all sorts of issues with the electric fleet. 637 is seen in Nottingham's Old Market Square with a 48 to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 636 (31.03.2025)

A not exactly plain sailing day on the second day of electric operation today with a mix of deckers and Yutong E12's doing the rounds, including some bus swaps to/from the electric type too. 636 is seen arriving at Beastmarket Hill with a 48 from Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 636 (31.03.2025)

Nottingham City Transport 636 (31.03.2025)

Seen arriving into Nottingham with the school extra 1.

Nottingham City Transport 639 (31.03.2025)

Now these are void of branding for the 48, their next assignment is their usage as navy spares for use on either the 1, 1B or 48, as illustrated here. 639 is seen on Beastmarket Hill ready to do the next 1 to Loughborough. In the end, after doing work on the 48 and 1B extras, this bus replaced the South Notts branded example of 647 on here following an extremely late night change for 647 in which it replaced one of the spare OmniDekkas in 925 on the 4.

Nottingham City Transport 647 (31.03.2025)

Nottingham City Transport 640 (31.03.2025)

Continuing their work at TBG are the three usual suspects, all most commonly found on the 1 as and when needed. 640 is seen arriving into Beastmarket Hill with a 1 from Loughborough.

Nottingham City Transport 925 (31.03.2025)

A sight soon to be no more on the 4 are OmniDekkas of both the spare and the branded kind with rumors of E400's from the 48 plus a couple of spares expected to replace them. 925 is seen turning into Market Street with a 4 to Clifton Campus.

Nottingham City Transport 907 (31.03.2025)

Seen arriving at Beastmarket Hill with the school extra 1 from Becket and Emmankel Schools.

Nottingham City Transport 907 (31.03.2025)

Now that the ex-48's are now seeing use as navy spares, the two spare OmniDekkas are expected to be withdrawn from NCT in the coming weeks or months one would assume and both were caught up with today too! 907 is seen on Beastmarket Hill with a 1B to Clifton.

Saturday, 29 March 2025

Central Connect 323 (29.03.2025)

Seen on Meadows Way out of service whilst presumably on rail replacement duties.

Central Connect 305 (29.03.2025)

Seen at Nottingham Station whilst on rail replacement duties.

Central Connect 370 (29.03.2025)

As the Phoenix Park shuttles don't run on weekends, the two dedicated pair of E200 MMC's can be found elsewhere, as illustrated here. 370 is seen on the approach to Nottingham Station with a 90 from Fernwood.

Central Connect 326 (29.03.2025)

Also on the 90 today was one of Central Connect's MMC's with fully fitted seatbelts, as illustrated here. 326 is seen on Beastmarket Hill ready to do the next 90 to Fernwood.

Central Connect 328 (29.03.2025)

A full new look Central Connect set on the 90 was the order of the day, with three differing E200 MMC's doing the rounds. 328, one of the most recently repainted Central Connects, is seen on Carrington Street with a 90 to Fernwood.

Nottingham City Transport 354 'Helen Richardson-Walsh' (29.03.2025)

Not too many of the spare Solo SR's were out today but one of the very few did end up on the 70/71 though, as illustrated here. 354 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with the blind set for the next 71 to Bulwell.

Nottingham City Transport 627 (29.03.2025)

The 68/69 unusually had three spares on it today, with two bio-gas spares and this celebrity decker in charge of proceedings. 627 is seen outside Victoria Centre ready to do the next 68 to Bulwell.

Nottingham City Transport 662 (29.03.2025)

Following on from the sky blue 60 branded bio-gas Scania of 434 coming off the route, the modernized spare of 662 turned up on it, as illustrated here. 662 is seen at Nottingham having brought in a 60 from Gedling.

Nottingham City Transport 251 (29.03.2025)

Now currently running as the sole E10 spare in service following 252's mishap in Cinderhill, it's nice to see it on anything other than the 40/41/42 as it tends to do a lot of work on there, so an appearance on the 61 is most welcome any day of the week, just like it was today! 251 waits on Upper Parliament Street in readiness for its next 61 departure to Calverton.
