With 40749, the dedicated East Midlands Trains buffet car for this set, out of action, this Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car was in this set instead. In fact, it has kept going in this set for quite a bit now after coming into it to replace 40749 on 11.12.2017. 40751 is seen here in East Midlands Trains formation at Nottingham Station, the set itself resting in between trips, the next service being the 14:32 to London St Pancras.
