Due to what I believe may be improvements to the local fleet, 153's are starting to see more general use on the Liverpool service, so no surprise to see that one was on there today and here, 153302 is seen paired with 158857 as they depart from Nottingham Station on platform 7 with the 12:47 service to Liverpool Lime Street, calling at Ilkeston. Alfreton, Chestefield, Sheffield, Stockport, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road, Warrington Central, Widnes, Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street.
