Well then, what a turn up this turned out to be! All of the East Midlands Trains branded buffet cars have been refurbished but it looks like some different maintenance of some kind has resulted in this HST set right here have a Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car in it! The set usually has branded buffet car 40746 in it but with it out of action for the short term, the Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car comes in instead as a backup! Although a Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car, it is spare and can actually be found with Virgin Trains East Coast or East Midlands Trains, as illustrated here. The shots here are from what I like to call 'The Virgin Set' with power cars 43064 and 43043 providing the traction on it, with the coach stock being like this: 41156, 41041, 40751, 42132, 42131, 42331, 42133, 44046.
