Another day out in service today and another day in visiting Nottingham as in this shot here, newly liveried East Midlands Trains blue MTU power cars 43423 and 43484 being in a white liveried six car set from London St Pancras onto platform 7 at Nottingham Station, the train using platform 7 as the very front of platform 6 was taken up by a Cross Country 170 beforehand. This service would have headed to Eastcroft sidings after this. I might say that there were delays actually to services due to a person hit by a train between London St Pancras and Luton but it was luckily after I finished for the day! This HST did come back out for its next service which I think was the 19:45 to London St Pancras and that thanks to it being in Eastcroft sidings for a long rest.
