The new and the old reside side-by-side here as former LNER power car 43320 awaits its next duty at Nottingham, the 12:45 service to London St Pancras and that after having earlier arrived in from the Capital whilst former East Midlands Trains power car 43048 powers away from the station with an ECS working to Sheffield, the train having earlier arrived from the Capital instead of the usual six car HST set.
