The short wheelbase MMC spare was to be seen being given a chance to have a go on a different Bridgford Bus route for a change as today saw it out on the 8 during the day before its evening work for the 8, 9 and 9B, as illustrated here. 309 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford on an 8 to Wilford Hill.
