47593 'Galloway Princess'/47614 (03.08.2022)

Formerly West Coast Railways operated was The Statesman but presumably operated by class 47's based at Crewe as it probably has been since West Coast Railways lost the contract to run it. Today saw a pair of BR Large locos out on the Cornish Riviera Statesman, as illustrated here. 47593, an ex-Northern Belle 47, and 47614 are seen on both ends at Nottingham, on the north end end before their move to the south end of the train and then at that end after their move there from the north end of the train before then departing with the first leg of the Cornish Riviera Statesman to Paignton. On the return leg, this would have gone from Paington back to Nottingham later on in the evening.
