Nottingham City Transport 430 (30.11.2017)

Here is another photo of silver spare bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City 430 on the 10 as it heads off of Carrington Street outside Nottingham Station while working a service for Ruddington.
Nottingham City Transport 428 (30.11.2017)

Today's bio-gas variant on the 6 came in the form of 428, an ADL Enviro 400 CBG City type, seen here on Carrington Street passing Nottingham Station with a service for City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 942 (30.11.2017)

Although the 6 used to use 08 plate Scania OmniDekkas before the introduction of the ADL Enviro 400 CBG City bio-gas buses, this 07 plate Scania OmniDekka was close enough to the vehicle's former stomping ground! I have to admit after riding this bus that, although the bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City buses are nice to ride on, it was nice nice to ride on something different like this for a change! 942 is seen here crossing the crossroads before climbing up Trevor Road with a 6 to Edwalton, the bus just after dropping me off at Burleigh Road bus stop.
Nottingham City Transport 942 (30.11.2017)

Out of all of today's spares seen on green line, I could only realistically choose from routes close enough to home and as good as the oddity on the 9 was with the green 11 Optare Solo SR as well as all of the other spare buses seen on Bridgford Bus, today's chariot just had to be on this 07 plate Scania OmniDekka! 942 is seen here about to pick me up from Nottingham Station on Carrington Street with a 6 to Edwalton.
Nottingham City Transport 942 (30.11.2017)

Possibly one of my favourite rear adverts on this Scania OmniDekka on terms of colour, this bus has sported its Pretty Windows Day Nursery advert for a very long time now! 942 is seen here stopping over on Carrington Street with a 6 to City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 942 (30.11.2017)

Believe it or not, while the 10 had a non-bio-gas bus in the form of a standard ADL Enviro 400 silver spare, the 6 also had a non-bio-gas bus on their route today and I was pleased to see it as well as it was an 07 plate Scania OmniDekka that was on there! 942 unusually puts an appearance on the usually bio-gas operated 6 in place of a Bridgford Bus branded ADL Enviro 400 CBG City, seen here stopping over at Nottingham Station on Carrington Street while working an Edwalton service.
Nottingham City Transport 518 (30.11.2017)

Here is another photo of Scania OmniCity 518 on navy 48, seen here on Carrington Street outside Nottingham Station with a service for Clifton.
Nottingham City Transport 430 (30.11.2017)

Today's bio-gas variant on the 10 was silver spare 430, an ADL Enviro 400 CBG City type, seen here on Carrington Street outside Nottingham Station with a service for Ruddington.
Nottingham City Transport 605 (30.11.2017)

A chance find on the usually bio-gas operated green 10 was this standard ADL Enviro 400 silver spare. Although the 10 usually uses ADL Enviro 400 CBG City types, to see a standard ADL Enviro 400 type on there is a rarity! Maybe one of these types will come out onto the 6 sometime? We'll just have to wait and see but for now, this will have to do for the time being! 605 unusually puts an appearance in on the 10, seen here stopping at Nottingham Station on Carrington Street with a service for Ruddington.
Nottingham City Transport 334 (30.11.2017)

Well then, a day of which saw a lot of spare buses on Bridgford Bus was also a day where I also found this green 11 bus on the wrong side of the green and not the right side of it! I suppose an odd working involving a different branded bus off route was possible. After all, although it's easy to find just spare buses when there are a load of them out, maybe today's find involving this green 11 Optare Solo SR off route was easy then! In all honesty, it's a chance find really. After all, I wasn't expecting it to turn up! 334 unusually puts an appearance in on the 9 in place of a 12 plate branded Bridgford Bus Optare Solo SR, seen here on Carrington Street outside Nottingham Station with a service to Wilford Hill. I wonder when the Bridgford Bus Optare Solo SR buses will get repainted into the new style green line livery? After all, the green 11 buses are all in the new style green line livery now.
Nottingham City Transport 518 (30.11.2017)

I hope I'm not dreaming, which I am actually not, but it seems like I am in a weird world seeing green spare single decker Scania OmniCity buses on the 48 almost every day! Of course I'm not in a weird world but these buses are simply stalking me on the 48 now! They can stalk me all they like now because they do count as nice finds on the route! 518 was today's bus in question on the 48, seen here on Carrington Street outside Nottingham Station working a service to Clifton.
Nottingham City Transport 375 (30.11.2017)

Today's other spare on green 11 was 375, an ADL Enviro 200, seen here turning left onto Bunbury Street to head via the Meadows while working an 11 to City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 353 (30.11.2017)

Owing to a green 11 branded Optare Solo SR on the 9 and another branded variant being off the road today, the 11 had two spares, this green spare Optare Solo SR being one of them. 353 is seen here on Carrington Street outside Nottingham Station with an 11 to Lady Bay.
Nottingham City Transport 377 (30.11.2017)

While one of the 9's had a green 11 branded Optare Solo SR on all day, the other 9 had this green spare ADL Enviro 200 and I think it operated all day unless I'm mistaken! 377 is seen just in view at Central Avenue in West Bridgford with a 9 to Wilford Hill.
Nottingham City Transport 352 (30.11.2017)

Here is another photo of Optare Solo SR 352 as it heads a line of buses on Carrington Street in preparation for the lights to change while on a 7 to Gamston.
Nottingham City Transport 353 (30.11.2017)

The most mundane working from today on Bridgford Bus came in the form of this green spare Optare Solo SR on the 7. 352 is seen here on Carrington Street arriving at Nottingham Station bus stop with a 7 to Gamston.
Nottingham City Transport 238 (30.11.2017)

Today saw loads of spare buses on Bridgford Bus, along with a green 11 branded Optare Solo SR on the 9 and there were a load of branded buses off the road and to make matters worse from today, one of the Bridgford Bus branded Optare Solo SR's got dropped from the 5, so this Y reg plate Old Optare Solo came out to the rescue and take over from it. 238 is seen here heading past the traffic lights onto Carrington Street with a 5 to City Loop. In my opinion, I suppose this could have been a main spare from today, but I think Nottingham City Transport deciding otherwise on this occasion.
Nottingham Express Transit 211 'Robin Hood' (30.11.2017)

No Shipstone Street only services were running this morning on Nottingham's tram network due to delays but the usual services to Toton Lane, Hucknall, Clifton South and Phoenix Park were running albeit with delays until the trams were repositioned, leaving slight residual delays. 211 is seen here at Nottingham Station on a service to Toton Lane.
East Midlands Trains 156408 (30.11.2017)

Little if any oddities were around today on the regional services for East Midlands Trains except for this 156 on the Liverpool service! 156408 is seen here at Nottingham Station on platform 1B having just arrived in from Liverpool Lime Street with a 158 having led in the service, which would go to Norwich, with the 156 going to Eastcroft sidings.
East Midlands Trains 222102 (30.11.2017)

Today's four car class 222 on the slow stopper London St Pancras services was 222102, seen here terminating at Nottingham Station from London St Pancras.
East Midlands Trains 43089 (30.11.2017)

Even the HST could be seen from the top of the tram bridge, it being a seven car set and not an eight car set! 43089 is seen in view from the top of the tram bridge not long after terminating in from London St Pancras.
East Midlands Trains 43089 (30.11.2017)

Well, as we know, 44071 is a spare standard class coach A. However, due to all of the other spare coaches (not coach A ones) being taken up, one of today's HST sets was reduced to seven cars from the usual eight. 43089 is seen here at Nottingham Station on platform 6 with a seven car set, the next departure being the 12:32 service to London St Pancras. I wonder if some of the reservations on this set didn't match up! After all, it's a seven car HST set here and not an eight car one! While the Virgin Trains East Coast buffet car didn't turn up in the end today, this was always going to be the biggest oddity on HST sets that I saw no matter what!

Worth noting that most if not all all photos/videos are now going to be taken with my brand new Samsung Galaxy J5.

East Midlands Trains 153310/153357 (29.11.2017)

Now here's an odd working! A pair of dogboxes on the Mansfield Woodhouse and Worksop runs! 153310 and 153357 are unusually seen here at Nottingham Station getting ready to depart from platform 1A with the 12:26 service to Worksop.
East Midlands Trains 158773 'Eastcroft Depot' (29.11.2017)

Not too sure if this 158 came in from Liverpool Lime Street before changing services to the Mansfield Woodhouse and Worksop runs as I saw it on platform 1B earlier on in the day. Either way, proof that it operated the Mansfield Woodhouse and Worsop runs is illustrated here in this photo. 158773 is seen here on platform 1A at Nottingham Station having arrived in on a service from Mansfield Woodhouse, next service starting from Nottingham Station itself to Worksop on the 13:26 service.
East Midlands Trains 222022 'Invest In Nottingham' (29.11.2017)

Yes, a perfect place to capture this 222 with the Invest In Nottingham nameplate, it being at Nottingham Station of course! 222022 is seen here departing on platform 5 with a service to London St Pancras.
East Midlands Trains 43076 'In Support Of Help For Heroes' (29.11.2017)

After waiting for a 153 to leave platform 6C on an ECS move which, in the end, gave priority to a departing Newark Castle service before doing so, this HST came into platform 6 five minutes late as a result. I was actually slightly surprised that there wasn't a platform alteration for this set. 43066 us seen here arriving at Nottingham Station on platform 6 with a terminating service from London St Pancras.
Nottingham Express Transit 208 'Dinah Minton' (29.11.2017)

My chariot to Nottingham Station after a morning of extra voluntary work for Oxfam was in the form of this Bombardier Incentro Tram. 210 is seen here leaving Nottingham Station with a service for Clifton South.
Nottingham City Transport 959 'Sean Upton' (29.11.2017)

Yet another 08 plate Scania OmniDekka has been repainted into the new style spare livery from its older style rainbow swoops silver style livery and the latest to be repainted is in the form of 959, which is seen heading down Market Street in Nottingham City Centre while unusually operating a 10 to Ruddington, usually a bio-gas operated route. This bus doesn't have its Sean Upton nameplate yet and the interior has not been refurbished, so this is a new style spare with unrefurbished interior.
Nottingham City Transport 426/430 (29.11.2017)

Another classic shot here, this time of two silver spare bio-gas 6's with these ADL Enviro 400 CBG City types involving the ones currently being the first and last numerically in the bio-gas spare fleet. 426 and 430 are both seen here heading up and down Trevor Road with 6's to City Loop and Edwalton respectively.
Nottingham City Transport 430 (29.11.2017)

After a mostly afternoon session at Nottingham Station, my chariot home from there was in the form of this silver spare ADL Enviro 400 CBG City bio-gas bus. 430 is seen here on Carrington Street about to pick me up from Nottingham Station with a 6 to Edwalton.
Nottingham City Transport 426/427 (29.11.2017)

Classic shot here with two silver spare ADL Enviro 400 CBG City bio-gas buses right next to each other in numerical order! 426 and 427 are seen here with route 6 and 10 services to City Loop and Ruddington respectively as they head onto Carrington Street and Arkwright Street past the traffic lights outside Nottingham Station. Worth noting that 427 was today's only bio-gas spare on the 10, with non-bio-gas Scania OmniDekka 959 also on the route as well.
Nottingham City Transport 430 (29.11.2017)

Well then, although the branded bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City buses for Bridgford Bus seem like reliable vehicles, maybe not today given two silver variants being utilised on there. 430 is seen here on Arkwright Street with a 6 to City Loop.
Nottingham City Transport 430 (29.11.2017)

The other silver spare ADL Enviro 400 CBG City bio-gas bus on green 6 was in the form of 430, seen here on Collin St having just departed from bus stop C2 with a 6 to Edwalton.
Nottingham City Transport 426 (29.11.2017)

Not one, but two silver spare bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City buses made their way onto green 6 today in place of two branded variants! 426 is seen here completing a right turn onto Collin St whilw heading to Nottingham on a 6.
Nottingham City Transport 342 (29.11.2017)

Here is another photo of Optare Solo SR 342 as it heads past Lace Market tram stop on Carrington Street while working a 9, the blind presumably before being reset ahead of its next journey to Wilford Hill.
Nottingham City Transport 342 (29.11.2017)

Just the one spare on the single decks of Bridgford Bus today involving this green spare Optare Solo SR on the 9. 342 is seen here heading onto Carrington Street with a 9 to City Loop

Nottingham City Transport 430 (28.11.2017)

No rear indicator here on the back of this silver spare ADL Enviro 400 CBG City due to a blown out display. Hard to tell what route it'd be on at night then if you were to look at the back of the bus! 430 is seen here having just dropped me off at Burleigh Road bus stop as it prepares to head up Trevor Road ahead of a left turn onto Stamford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.
A blurry shot here put here is a photo of a pink line 31 Scania OmniDekka on the 28, green spare Scania OmniTown on 203 on pink 31 and Optare OmniDekka 902 on purple 89, which ran out of service from Parliament Street depot to start an evening of work on the route. Photo taken on 28.11.2017.
Nottingham City Transport 902 (28.11.2017)

Here is Optare OmniDekka 902 out of service, as seen here outside Victoria Centre in the lit up Nottingham City Centre.
Nottingham City Transport 979 (28.11.2017)

Not sure if this is true but I suspect that orange 34 still requires a spare of two despite former silver spare Scania OmniDekka 957 now being in the new orange 34 livery. 979 is seen here outside Victoria Centre with a 34 to University Park Campus.
Nottingham City Transport 146 (28.11.2017)

Perfect allocating for at least two of the spare ADL Enviro 200 buses today! This ADL Enviro 200 in the new style spare livery was on Sky Blues. 385 is seen here with a 46 to Woodborough and Lambley.
Nottingham City Transport 375 (28.11.2017)

Now here's a simple allocation involving this green spare ADL Enviro 200 on purple 88 which was the first bus to be delivered, along with purple line ADL Enviro 200 buses for the 87/88 route. While most of the ADL Enviro 200's have the air con (I think) on top painted over, this spare, along with the purple line ADL Enviro 200 buses for the 87/88 have the white air con (I think) on top. 375 is seen here on Upper Parliament Street with an 88 to Top Valley.
Nottingham City Transport 603 (28.11.2017)

This year's pantomime sponsored by Nottingham City Transport is Cinderella, going on from Friday 1st December till Saturday 20th January 2018. 603, an ADL Enviro 400, is this year's panto bus and is seen here heading out of service, the blind already reset for a 58 ahead of a journey to Arnold. The last two Pantomimes of Dick Whittington and Aladdin were painted on Scania OmniDekka 745, which has now been withdrawn from NCT's fleet. This year interestingly sees this ADL Enviro 400 have the Cinderella wrap rather than one of the older Scania OmniDekka's. I'll have to say that at least they haven't covered up the windows on this one!

Nottingham City Transport 352/332 (29.11.2017)

Here is a shot of Optare Solo SR buses 352 (green spare) and 332 (green 11 branded) as they head route 41 and 11 services to St Ann's and Lady Bay respectively, as seen here outside Victoria Centre.
Nottingham City Transport 353 (28.11.2017)

The other two green spare Optare Solo SR buses were to be seen on Blue Line, one as illustrated here. 353 is seen here heading a 41, the blind already reset ahead of its next journey to St Ann's.

One such place I'd thought I'd take a chance and take a couple of shots of some of Nottingham's Transport from was the top of Lace Market Car Park. I'd have to say, not too bad shots in these photos shown here despite the car park wall being a bit iffy. Photos taken on 28.11.2017.
