Oddity on diversion...
258, a blue 40/41/42 branded E10, is unusually seen entering the City from Friar Lane towards Beastmarket Hill to reach Angel Row with a 9 from Clifton, the blind set for its next turn of duty, a 7 to Edwalton Fields.

Nottingham City Transport 253 (06.10.2026)
It turns out that there are green 11's with NCT but yet the only two available ones on the day ended up on the Bridgford Bus network instead, thus leaving the 11 with two Bridgford Bus Yutongs on it! In the reverse to that. 253 is seen leaving Angel Row as it starts a 5 to Gamston.
In a rarity for the route, both 11's were being operated with Bridgford Bus E10's, something which hadn't been seen under the new timetable until today! 270 unusually puts an appearance in on the 11 as it arrives at Victoria Centre with the blind set for the next trip to Lady Bay.
Nottingham City Transport 264 (06.10.2026)
Due to the emergency services dealing with a building fire on Market Street, thus suspending trams from late yesterday evening until later on today, bus services were also affected, thus seeing diversions aplenty, especially on this side of the City too! 266 is unusually seen on Beastmarket Hill as it approaches Angel Row with an 11 from Lady Bay.
Nottingham City Transport 268 (06.10.2026)
Due to gas works on Gordon Road, a majority of services towards the City are diverting via Radcliffe Road in order to resume normal route from Trent Bridge onwards, thus missing out on Central Avenue in the process. 268 is unusually seen on Radcliffe Road with an off route 12 from Cropwell Bishop. A rare appearance on this route any day of the week but especially with a diversion like this one!
Nottingham City Transport 266 (06.10.2026)
A good chunk of the Bridgford Bus Yutongs had an away day from their usual haunts in favor of something different and that can be illustrated here with 266 as it arrives into Canning Circus to prepare itself for the extra 34 to University Park Campus, a working which follows the extra 53B to the QMC from Clifton on University days.
Nottingham City Transport 215 (06.10.2026)
A chance encounter on the Pathfinder 90 this morning was that of a navy 48 branded E12, as illustrated here. 215 is unusually seen on Radcliffe Road with a 90 from Fernwood as far as Victoria Embankment prior to a bus swap which saw the branded Solo SR of 356 take the remainder of the journey towards Nottingham City Centre and then continue on for the rest of the day on the route.

The extra 26, 43 and 39 afternoon diagrams usually produce one of the branded 39's but today saw one of the branded 48's on it instead, as illustrated here. 215 is unusually seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 39 from Carlton Valley, the blind set for the next run back out to Carlton Valley.
Nottingham City Transport 207 (06.10.2026)
In a strange turn of events given the fact that the South Notts branded E400 of 643 was replaced on the 4 by 638, one of the trio of branded buses on the route, one of the Yutong E12's branded for the 39 remarkably spent the whole day on Uni work without being swapped and I was able to get a good snap of it too! 207 is unusually seen at the City Campus with a 4 to the Clifton Campus.
Nottingham City Transport 643 (06.10.2026)
Cat café or cat campus?
643, a South Notts E400 with its new rear ad for Kitty Café, is seen on Loughborough Road with a 4 to City Campus. In the end, this bus was later replaced by the Uni 4 branded E400 of 638 after that bus was declared available for service after it had finished service on the extra 1E. Also as a result of this having seen use on the 4 and nothing else, 633, one of the spare E400's, spent all day out on the 1 instead.
Nottingham City Transport 634 (06.10.2026)
For a while, it was electric buses on the electric routes for the most part prior to the timetable updates across NCT's network and now we're seeing diesel spares on the electric routes that bit more and 634, an E400 decker, exemplifies this as it heads on Carrington Street with a 48 to Clifton.
Nottingham City Transport 406 (29.09.2026)
Unless it's for school work, the green bio-gas buses from either Bridgford Bus or the 10 rarely stray away from their usual network but today saw one of the 10's out all day on the 77, something very rare indeed given the route more often than not ends up with a full set of their own branded examples! 406 is seen on Lower Parliament Street in place of a turquoise example with a 77 to Strelley.
Nottingham City Transport 538 (29.09.2026)
It may be rare to see any bio-gas on the 79 even though we're now seeing the turquoise bio-gas buses on it on various occasions but seeing a lime bio-gas on it is certainly rare indeed and the rare occasion was to be caught on the camera today! 538 is unusually seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 79B to Bulwell.
Nottingham City Transport 626 (29.09.2026)
PSG were in on the unusual workings today and even in spite of the full Uni 34 timetable being well back in operation did one of their E400's end up away from the orange route! 626 is seen on Milton Street as it unusually works a sky blue 60 to Gedling. In the end, this bus was later effectively replaced by the 65 plate E400 spare of 662, which had spent all day on the 43/44 prior to its late sky blue work.

The complete opposite of what was on one of the 4's was out on the 45 today with this E400 spare, as illustrated here. 634 is seen turning into Market Street from Upper Parliament Street on a 45 to Bakersfield the long way round via Victoria Park and Rivendell.
