Nottingham City Transport 277 (03.08.2026)

With the navy 3 route now withdrawn, the trio of Yutongs can now be seen following a similar role to the Solo SR's of 344 and 345 when they were repainted into spare in seeing use on absolutely anything since these now have the spare livery. 277 is pictured on Upper Parliament Street with a 40 to Sherwood.

Trent Barton 217 (24.07.2026)

A sight not to be repeated now is The Cotgrave not leaving Broadmarsh Bus Station spare or not and on the second to last day of the route serving the bus station, 217 in the Mango spare livery is seen on departure from it on Canal Street awaiting the turn into Carrington Street with The Cotgrave to Cotgrave.

Seen in West Bridgford on The Cotgrave to Nottingham, the 17 plate Mango spare MMC having replaced the 18 plate Mango spare MMC of 217 earlier on in the day after a bus fault.

One Mango MMC that was on my bingo card on the RV1 from today was this 17 plate variant, as illustrated here. 109 is pictured in Radcliffe with an RV1 to Bingham. In the end, prior to its next turn of duty on the Skylink Nottingham, this bus was replaced on this route by the branded Solo SR of 505 after working the return service from Bingham.

Trent Barton 147 (24.07.2026)

One Mango spare that wasn't intended to be on my bingo card from today on the RV1 was this one of the 20 plates but after the branded Eclipse of 741 came off, I set out to catch up with the new look spare as a result. 147 is pictured having left Broadmarsh Bus Station on an RV1 to Newton.

Given the two bus PVR on the RV1, it's not always that you see four buses on the service but today saw just that happen with three spares also seeing part-time use on the route too! 741 is pictured having left Broadmarsh Bus Station on an RV1 to Bingham. In the end, this bus was replaced by the Mango MMC of 147 on the route due to possible issues with the rear seats, the Mango MMC, which itself had failed on the Skylink Nottingham, having been replaced on there by one of its older Mango sisters in the form of 109, which was dispatched onto The Cotgrave to replace a failed 217 after having been replaced on the Skylink Nottingham late on by the branded MMC of 124.

Trent Barton 727 (24.07.2026)

It seems as if Langley Mill have taken hold of most of the bright red Eclipses with only one left running at Manvers Street, which has come in handy of late with Trent having a vehicle shortage in Nottingham although enough spares were out to help cover various diagrams as and when needed prior to being swapped, mostly for branded vehicles. 727 is pictured in Radcliffe with a Mainline to Nottingham, not Bingham as advertised. In the end, this bus moved to the i4 to replace the branded MMC of 138, which replaced the branded MMC of 131 on the same route, that bus of which was involved in replacing some form of another branded MMC on, yep, you guessed it, the same route (surprise, surprise!).

Trent Barton 110 (24.07.2026)

After having left home early for the City, a Mango MMC turned up on The Calverton, thus giving me the chance to catch up with it straight away, an opportunity that wasn't to be turned down and so I made my way on the MMC towards Daybrook to document it on its first journey of the day from the City. 110 is seen having left Daybrook Square on The Calverton to Calverton. In the end, this bus was replaced by the branded Eclipse of 711 on this route before moving to the Skylink Nottingham to replace the Skylink Nottingham branded MMC of 121, which failed at East Midlands Airport earlier in the day.

Stagecoach East Midlands 27186 (19.07.2026)

An early start for me was on the cards today in preparation for seeing the South Notts cavalcade of buses leave Nottingham on their first run to Loughborough at 9:20 although I also decided to catch up with the booked single-decker working on the Pronto, which then moves to the 1 afterwards and today saw one of the branded Millers for the 1 in charge of proceedings, as illustrated here. 27186 is seen on Mansfield Road with a Pronto to Mansfield.

A somewhat unusual appearance on the 141 from today came from this E200, as illustrated here. 36515 is seen on Hucknall Road with a 141 to Sutton.

What was once a Miller for this TransBus E300 was soon de-branded to become plain Beachball before then being repainted into first-gen Local, as illustrated here. 27184 is pictured outside City Hospital with a 141 to Sutton.

One of Mansfield's new livery MAN E300's was on the 141 today just for something different in livery terms as the older Local livery was the mainstay of the other boards today. 24197 is pictured on Hucknall Road with a 141 from Sutton.

A welcome return on the streets of Mansfield Road for the MAN E300's since the Pronto withdrew them and the Transbus examples in favor of E400 MMC's although these see use on either the 141 or the Sherwood Arrow in Nottingham, as exemplified here with 24194, the bus as seen on Mansfield Road with a Sherwood Arrow to New Ollerton and Worksop.

Stagecoach East Midlands 24201 (18.07.2026)

It seems different seeing more of these MAN E300's at both Mansfield and Worksop following transfer from Hull with some TransBus and K230UB examples moving in the opposite direction. If only the transfers didn't take place since I'm personally not a fan of these examples although I did elect to catch up with a few on some of their often regular duties, including on the Sherwood Arrow for example. 24201 is seen on Mansfield Road with a Sherwood Arrow from Worksop and New Ollerton.

After the MAN E300 of 24201 came off the Sherwood Arrow, this K230UB example came out to play for the evening after having finished service on the 22, hence why efforts were made to catch up with it. 28617 is seen on Mansfield Road near Victoria Bus Station with a Sherwood Arrow from Worksop and New Ollerton.

Stagecoach East Midlands 28620 (18.07.2026)

With 28611-28614 now at Hull, only 28616-28620 remain as the only K230UB E300's left at Worksop and two of them were caught by the camera on the Sherwood Arrow today! 28620 in the second-generation Local livery is seen on Mansfield Road with a Sherwood Arrow to New Ollerton and Retford. In the end, this bus was dispatched onto the route after taking over from the MAN E300 of 24194 in New Ollerton on the very first journey from Worksop.

Stagecoach East Midlands 15176 (18.07.2026)

Due to issues with the MAN E300 of 24193 on the Sherwood Arrow, this Aspire 77 branded Scania E400, which was swapped for E400 19318 on its own route originally, was dispatched onto the Sherwood Arrow to help out and efforts were made to catch up with it, more especially because only two of these are left branded for the Aspire 77, this being one of them with the other being 15178. 15176 is pictured on Mansfield Road with a Sherwood Arrow to New Ollerton and Retford.

With The Cotgrave now one bus less, it now opens the door to various spares making appearances and not just the Mango MMC's either, as illustrated in this example with 713, one of many Eclipses in the Mango livery, which is pictured in Cotgrave on The Cotgrave, a place no stranger to seeing these bus types since three ex-Mickleover examples, which were replaced by newer MMC's, were brought in to replace the older Scanias.
