Nottingham City Transport 266 (14.09.2026)

After coming off the 7 this morning, this Bridgford Bus E10 came back out unexpectedly late this afternoon for a singular run on the 42 in lieu of a blue E10 that failed temporarily and I managed to document the one-off occasion on the day too! 266 is seen on Lower Parliament Street facing the wrong way to normal with a 42 to St Ann's.

Nottingham City Transport 264 (14.09.2026)

Right place, wrong route!

264 is pictured in Central Avenue, West Bridgford on an away day from its usual Bridgford Bus haunts as it works a 12 to Cropwell Bishop.

Nottingham City Transport 255 (14.09.2026)

Right color but wrong branding (again!)

255 is pictured in West Bridgford on a 7 to Nottingham

Nottingham City Transport 254 (14.09.2026)

A couple of misallocations to the Bridgford Bus network today saw two green 11 branded Yutongs on it although it does often seem to be regular on occasion like in this example with 254 as it leaves the bus stop in Central Avenue, West Bridgford on a 5 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 251 (14.09.2026)

Electric spares on the electric routes are more common now with NCT since most of the Solo SR fleet along with all of the MMC fleet have moved to other operators and even today it was no exception! 251 is pictures in West Bridgford with a 5 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 277 (14.09.2026)

An interesting feature on this E10 is only the rear hatch is covered with an advert rather than the whole bus, as illustrated here. 277 is seen in West Bridgford on a 7 to Nottingham. In the end, this bus replaced the Bridgford Bus branded E10 of 266 on the previous service to Edwalton Fields.

Nottingham City Transport 286 (14.09.2026)

I like the fact that the 12 can see anything from spares to 11's to Bridgford Bus since there are no buses branded for the route at present and it turns out that this is the only new route besides the 18 to not have branding for it, hence why it can be a lottery as to what turns up on it! 286, one of the new 75 plate E10 spares, is seen in West Bridgford with a 12 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 287 (14.09.2026)

With one of the branded buses for the 11 not out, that left only two of them available but both ended up on Bridgford Bus today, leaving spares on both 11's as a result. 287 is seen outside the Cricket Ground with a 11C to Holme Pierrepont.

Now the Yutong order has been complete for the single-decker fleet aside from the 90, which continues with Solo SR's for the time being, the attention will now turn to the double decker fleet with orders from both Wrightbus and Yutong that are all expected to join the single decker Yutong fleet, all of which continue to provide for perhaps more mundane workings on the electric routes and perhaps more especially since they replaced the Solo SR's and MMC's. 286 is seen providing for a slight upgrade to the 11 though as it turns into Market Street from Upper Parliament Street with an 11 to Lady Bay.

Nottingham City Transport 602 (14.09.2026)

Prior to the effective later on change on the 6, numerical order was the order of the day with this silver E400 joining the Pride E400 on the route and with this one given the full time role. 602 is pictured in West Bridgford with a 6 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 611 (14.09.2026)

After the Pride E400 was allocated to evening duty on the 68/69, another celebrity decker was out on the 6 for the evening, as illustrated here. 611 is seen in West Bridgford with a 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 603 (14.09.2026)

The appearance of 402 on the A2 this morning left two spares out on the 6 in the main, with a celebrity decker on one of them! 603 in its Pride livery is pictured in West Bridgford with a 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 603 (14.09.2026)

After noticing that the Pride E400 was on the yellow line after its work on the 6 had ended, I set out to catch up with it. 603 is pictured on Wollaton Street on diversion with a 69 from Bulwell.

Nottingham City Transport 611 (14.09.2026)

Seen on Parliament Street heading empty to Assarts Farm to work a singular 78 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 402 (14.09.2026)

One of the big morning allocations to the A2 was that of a Bridgford Bus branded bio-gas Scania, as illustrated here. 402 is seen looking well out of place as it turns into Aspley Lane with an A2 to Aspley.

Nottingham City Transport 455 (14.09.2026)

Any available bus is used on the A2's on either the morning or afternoon services or even both and herr we see 455 branded for the brown line 15/16/17 as it turns into Aspley Lane with an A2 to Aspley.

Nottingham City Transport 432 (14.09.2026)

Nice to see some different form of spare power on the A2 for a change!

432 is pictured turning into Aspley Lane with an A2 to Aspley. In the end, this bus later spent the evening on the 35 replacing one of the branded bio-gas Scanias.

Nottingham City Transport 605 (14.09.2026)

For some reason, this E400 seems to be the only one that doesn't do much other than light work, a theme which wasn't common when it was in the older silver spare livery that it had for longer than envisaged as a result of covid. A prime example of light work features here as 605 is pictured turning off Aspley Lane to join the Ring Road with an A2 to Bulwell.

Nottingham City Transport 624 'Robert Howard' (14.09.2026)

Seen turning onto the Ring Road off Aspley Lane with its afternoon A2 to Bulwell.

Nottingham City Transport 624 'Robert Howard' (14.09.2026)

On the day that the Uni 34 returned to its normal timetable after the end of the Summer break, one of the buses branded for it ended up on the A2 for the morning and the afternoon, the morning appearance providing for something different with bio-gas Scanias taking up the other three services. 624 turns into Aspley Lane with an A2 to Aspley.

Nottingham City Transport 627 'Alice Levine' (14.09.2026)

Special liveried spares don't always tend to end up on the A2 but an exception to the rule sees 627 in its 125th Anniversary livery pictured on a Moor Bridge service as it now makes its way on the Ring Road.

Nottingham City Transport 627 'Alice Levine' (14.09.2026)

A view of Upper Parliament Street in full flow sees 125th Anniversary liveried E400 627 take the road towards Milton Street to terminate with a brown 15 from Rise Park. In the end, this bus's next service was cancelled due to an unknown cause and it was also replaced at lunchtime on the brown 15/16, a route which rarely sees any changes to branded buses from spares, by the branded bio-gas Scania of 542.
Nottingham City Transport 627 'Alice Levine' (14.09.2026)

Most services towards Nottingham via the York Street side of Victoria Centre for the evening were actually diverting away from their usual route towards Nottingham for resurfacing works with the sky blue 60 and 61 the only routes able to run normally. 627 in its 125th Anniversary livery and now with a white blind on the rear is seen on Mansfield Road at Victoria Centre facing towards the City with a 60 from Gedling, the bus having taken over from a sky blue bio-gas Scania earlier on before sunset.

Nottingham City Transport 605 (15.09.2026)

Seen on Upper Parliament Street bound for Strelley as it spends the morning on the extra 77's.

Nottingham City Transport 613 'Sheku Kanneh-Mason (14.09.2026)

Seen on Maid Marian Way with its extra 77 from Beechdale, the bus's next run being a 79B to Bulwell as part of its extra work on the 79.

Nottingham City Transport 628 (14.09.2026)

Seen on Maid Marian Way leading the way with a 77 from Strelley.

Nottingham City Transport 266 (03.08.2026)

In a morning on a weekday, there's a booked Yutong working on the 10 and it tends to be operated with one of the Bridgford Bus ones and today saw it being operated by one that later failed on the 5/9, thus making this capture having been all the more important! 266 is pictured at the end of Rugby Road with a 10 to Nottingham
