Something a bit different as when I got off this silver spare bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City at Burleigh Road bus stop on Gordon Road, I went to the other side of the pavement to capture these shots! 429 is seen here leaving Burleigh Road bus stop behind on Gordon Road before climbing up Trevor Road on a Bridgford Bus 6 service to Edwalton.

A silver spare bio-gas ADL Enviro 400 CBG City was also to be found on this day operating the Bridgford Bus 6 services and today's bus of choice there was 429, seen here on Carrington Street with a 6 to City Loop.

With the Bridgford Bus 7 on Saturdays, it can be a lottery as to if a spare bus will turn up when required but it's with the Saturday service that this green spare Optare Solo SR can be seen on the 7, as highlighted here. 353 is seen here in these two shots on Carrington Street with a 7 to Gamston.

Now this green spare Optare Solo SR does have its Optare logo on the front panel! Given it being a newer Optare Solo SR that Nottingham City Transport acquired in what may be either 2011 or 2012, this is why it has the newer Optare logo, as highlighted here. 353 is seen at Victoria Centre bus stop on Lower Parliament Street, the blind already reset for the next trip out to Gamston on the 7 for Bridgford Bus.

The Bridgford Bus 7 is one of those routes that have green spare buses on it but you'd have to look towards the Saturday services to find one of these! 353, a green spare Optare Solo SR, is seen here arriving at Central Avenue bus stop in West Bridgford to pick me up while on a 7 to City Loop.

So then, I was seeing what Bridgford Bus had to offer today and for the Bridgford Bus 7, this green spare Optare Solo SR was actually on the other side rather than where the branded Optare Solo SR was, so the attention turned right here on this one! 353 is seen here in Central Avenue, West Bridgford on a 7 to Gamston.

Green 11 and a green spare Optare Solo SR does provide for a rather mundane allocation to the route. I wonder where the Optare logo has gone from the front panel? Well anyway, 342 is the bus in question here, seen on Carrington Street with an 11 to Lady Bay.

Here are some shots, as seen from Nottingham Station on 28.09.2018, where services are seen by East Midlands Trains, Cross Country, Northern, Nottingham Express Transit, freight from DB Cargo UK and a Network Rail test train operated by Colas Railfreight. This also includes newly liveried and former South West Trains unit 158889 for East Midlands Trains along with 156410 for East Midlands Trains and that as well as former Great Western Railway dogboxes 153368 and 153372 for East Midlands Trains. Also in here are two 150's on the Leeds services, one in new Northern Livery and one Great Western Railway one in debranded First Great Western blue. It can be said as well that perhaps East Midlands Trains VP185 branded 43066 did replace newer MTU branded counterpart 43480 on an HST set although it still meant MTU branded 43484 kept its place in that set. Too bad maybe that the MTU power car wasn't on the East Midlands Trains HST set that had the London North Eastern Railway in Virgin Trains East Coast livery on hire but oh well.
