Centrebus 743 (31.12.2020)

One of Centrebus's more interesting vehichles are the Plaxton Centro types and one was out on the 19 today, as illustrated here. 743 is now seen on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford with a 19 to Melton Mowbray.

Nottingham City Transport 335 (31.12.2020)

And the only way to end the NCT bus shots of 2020 is that of this Optare Solo SR with a green background to it just for what route it's on! 335 is seen on Radcliffe Road with an 11 to City Loop.

An interesting addition on the driver training OmniDekkas is that of them being minus the front LED displays, as illustrated with this one here. 913 is seen on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford.

Nottingham City Transport 901 (31.12.2020)

A sight still on our streets despite Nottingham having entered tier four is that of the buses continuing to do their bit and a shot of one of the NHS OmniDekkas would have been fitting but today wasn't to be. I was able to find a spare OmniDekka though even if it wasn't the NHS one as the green 10 route was one such route to have one of those bus types on there, as illustrated here. 901 is seen having just entered West Bridgford on a 10 to Ruddington.

Over on the green 10 route, a similar story to the Bridgford Bus 6 route in which one of their branded bio-gas buses was off the road but with the only difference being in the spare bus of choice as this OmniDekka was chosen to assist operations on this particular number. 901 heads towards Trent Bridge with a 10 to City Loop.

Following on from two days of two bio-gas spares on the 6 and one day of no spares at all on the route, today saw something different on the route in the shape of a diesel powered ADL Enviro 400, as illustrated here. 601 turns left onto Bridgford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

With the masked ADL Enviro 400 CBG City of 401 for Bridgford Bus off the road today, one of the diesel powered counterparts stepped in to assist. 601 is seen at the end of Bridgford Road on its way towards Trent Bridge with a 6 to City Loop.

Spares of any kind aren't always easy to find on the navy 3 route, so when this new style spare Optare Solo SR appeared on the route, it meant I had another working involving this bus ticked off since repaint into the new style spare livery. 353 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 3 to Nottingham.

I have no idea what a grey 53/54 branded Optare Solo SR was doing here, hence a chance encounter with it! 357 now heads on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford out of service.

Nottingham City Transport 335 (31.12.2020)

A surprise find again this week was that of another pink 30/31 branded Optare Solo SR on the green 11 route! 335 is now seen on Radcliffe Road with an 11 to Lady Bay.

National Express BV69 KRF (31.12.2020)

As seen on Radcliffe Road in West Bridgford before a right turn onto London Road, BV69 KRF, a Levante Caetano, works a 230 to Nottingham.

DPD KV14 XVZ (31.12.2020)

Unbranded in white, KV14 XVZ, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van presumably for DPD, is pictured parked up on Radcliffe Road in West Bridgford.

FE62 VKK (31.12.2020)

Yes, it's that time of course and FE62 VKK of what I believe to be Nottingham City Council is seen heading on Loughborough Road whilst on salt spreading duties.

PX15 EMK (31.12.2020)

No branding on this HGV and PX15 EMK, a Volvo FH type, is the one that features here, it pictured now heading on Loughborough Road in West Bridgford hauling a single tanker.

 

Rushcliffe Borough Council 812 (30.12.2020)

The last grey dustbin collection of 2020 for us was this and 812, a Dennis Elite 6, got the honors as per the norm, it seen on St Helen's Road, Mellors Road, Willoughby Road and Exeter Road as it carries out its duties.
