East Midlands Railway 43317/43310 (27.10.2020)

Even the mixed NL11 set made it out onto the tracks today and it was certainly required for me... well on the day anyway! 43317 and 43310 in Virgin red are seen arriving at Nottingham Station from London St Pancras with the mixed NL11 set featuring Virgin red buffet car 40751 before waiting time before then departing back out on the 10:45 service.

East Midlands Railway 43296/43295 (27.10.2020)

As more and more red sets get prepared for service, the old classic sets are now running on borrowed time as sets like these replace them. 43296 and 43295 leave Nottingham Station on the 09:45 service to London St Pancras with a seven car red set minus coach D.

East Midlands Railway 43299/43307 (27.10.2020)

Now no longer required by LNER with their Azumas having replaced their HST's, East Midlands Railway have acquired them and the Midland Mainline can now be seen turning more red with only three VP185 power cars left in front line service. 43299 and 43307 are seen arriving at Nottingham from London St Pancras with the NL51 red set before waiting time before then departing back out on the 11:45 service.

East Midlands Railway 43274/43238 (27.10.2020)

The Flying Tomatoes!

43274 in mostly allover red and 43238 in the 'Tomato' red color scheme and now minus its Ferrari badge on the hatch are seen arriving at Nottingham Station from London St Pancras with the NL56 red set before waiting time before then departing back out on the 14:45 service.
