During the Nottingham Station closure between July 20 and August 26 2013, while a £100m project to renew six miles of track, install 140 news signals and revamp two level crossings to the east of the station was all carried out, some of NCT's buses were given advertising during this time. 234, an 02 plate Old Optare Solo, was one such bus to be given the advertising on the closure and here, the bus is seen on Bridgford Road with a 7 to City Loop, the bus complete with the as said advertising and with an East Midlands Trains class 222 Meridian on it for good measure.
