Nottingham City Transport 601 (28.01.2021)

Some Omnidekka spares along with one bio-gas spare were operating out of Parliament Street today while for the diesel powered Enviro 400 spares, two were out on the road and one of them was on the 6 today, so I went out to catch up with it. 601 is seen on Trevor Road and Stamford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 404 (28.02.2021)

The last of the numerically ordered bio-gas buses for the Bridgford Bus 6 route in the form of 404 features here, the bus as seen on Stamford Road and Trevor Road with a City Loop service.

Rushcliffe Borough Council 616 (27.02.2021)

A chance encounter from today was that of one of Rushcliffe's Mercedes-Benz Econic Faun refuse trucks! 616, minus a wheelie bin lift, is seen on Bridgford Road with a move presumably bound for Nottingham Eastcroft.

Nottingham City Transport 990 (27.02.2021)

So one OmniDekka thanks the NHS and another one thanks the key workers! They could have put it all on one bus but never mind! At least the message is being sent, which is the most important thing, so you know! I guess all is well that will eventually end well... we hope!

990 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 10 to Ruddington.

After 406, a green 10 branded bio-gas Scania, came off the route after only one run, one of the Omnidekka spares was drafted in to help out for the rest of the day. 990 heads towards Trent Bridge on a 10 to City Loop, the bus having stopped at County Hall bus stop in the process beforehand.

Considering the fact that the diesel buses can end up on the bio-gas routes, perhaps I should be pleased to have caught this ADL Enviro 400 on the 6 for a change and it's safe to say that I was pleased on the day!

605 is now seen on Bridgford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

No midi-bus spares were out on the Bridgford Bus network today unlike the previous day but no matter! At least this ADL Enviro 400 on the 6 will suffice! 430 waits for the all clear on Bridgford Road before heading towards Trent Bridge with a 6 to City Loop.

An interesting sight to behold in two Enviro 400's running under different powers side-by-side!

430 is seen being signal checked on Bridgford Road with a Bridgford Bus bio-gas 6 service to City Loop as 605 passes it with a Bridgford Bus diesel 6 service to Edwalton.
