Nottingham City Transport 384 (30.03.2021)

The random bus allocator was certainly working well today, with a Bridgford Bus MMC on the morning extra purple 88 workings, a grey 53/54 Solo SR on the blue 40/41/42, a pink 30/31 Solo SR on the morning extra grey 53B and 54B workings followed on by the afternoon extra navy 3 working and then the afternoon and evening grey 53 workings, another pink 30/31 Solo SR on the Bridgford Bus 9 and this out on the same route! 384, a brown 15/16 branded Enviro 200, still in the old livery, is seen looking out of place in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 9 to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 336 (30.03.2021)

With the pink 31 route still suspended, some of the pink 30/31 Solo SR's can often be found as being used as spares and 336 illustrates this as the bus works a Bridgford Bus 9 service to City Loop, the bus as seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford.

Nottingham City Transport 338 (30.03.2021)

With 339 currently being repainted, expect this blue 40/41/42 Solo SR to follow suit soon, so catch it while you can in this livery!

338 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with the extra 9B to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 344 (30.03.2021)

After having found out that the Bridgford Bud MMC of 304 was on the morning extra purple 88 workings, I was kind of hoping it would be on the extra 5 today but I got treated to a spare Solo SR instead just for something more mundane for my liking! Grr! 😠 344 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with the extra 5 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (30.03.2021)

After having been out on the blue 39 route the previous day, today saw the short wheelbase MMC spare back on Bridgford work, as illustrated here. 309 is seen on Melton Road with a 5 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 990 (30.03.2021)

Two of the OmniDekka spares were out on the 6 today, with 902 out on the route late on after taking over from the Bridgford Bus bio-gas branded one of 401 and this out on the route all day. 990 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with a 6 to Edwalton.

 

Nottingham City Transport 615 (30.03.2021)

A first for me here in seeing a decker on the navy 3 route that's not the extra working and given the spare Enviro 400's are based at Trent Bridge now or are on loan there, do expect the unexpected on occasion! 615 is seen on Wilford Lane with a 3 to Nottingham in place of a 61 plate Solo SR.

Nottingham City Transport 641 'Neil Parnell' (30.03.2021)

The closure of Gotham depot has seen the South Notts 1 and grey 53/54 routes move to Trent Bridge, the 1 only having recently transferred there. 641 is seen at the end of Wilford Lane on a 1 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 909 (29.03.2021)

The other spare out on the green 10 route today was in the form of this OmniDekka, as illustrated here. 909 heads on Rugby Road with a 10 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 500 (29.03.2021)

A tick in the book here gives me the 100th bio-gas bus in the new revised livery on the green 10 route! 500 heads on Rugby Road with a 10 to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 351 (29.03.2021)

Some oddities occurred on the network today, with a brown 15/16 Enviro 200 on the blue 40/41/42 route after having spent the morning peak on its usual routes, another brown 15/16 Enviro 200 on the grey 53/54 route, a sky blue 46/47 Enviro 200 out on the brown 15/16 route and this out on the 9! 351, a pink 30/31 Solo SR, heads on Rugby Road with a 9 to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 356 (29.03.2021)

Now in the new style spare livery, 356, an Optare Solo SR, heads on Rugby Road with a Bridgford Bus 9 service to Wilford Hill.

The duplicate pink workings for the 30 and 28 followed on by the extra 5 were with this new style spare Solo SR, as illustrated here. 355 is seen on Melton Road with a 5 to Gamston.

The move after the 9B working to Wilford Hill resu

lts in the allocated bus heading on Melton Road, Loughborough Road, London Road and Arkwright Street before a left turn onto Bathley Street before t a final left turn onto Bunbury Street to reach base at Trent Bridge. 342 is seen heading on Melton Road with an out of service move to Trent Bridge.

After spending the day on the blue 40/41/42, the extra 9B was to follow for this new style spare Optare Solo SR, as illustrated here. 342 is seen in Musters Road with a 9B to Wilford Hill.

A bus spot of a different kind was on the cards today as Rugby Road was my destination of choice and some shots from there close to the Rushcliffe Arena feature here, all as seen on 29.03.2021, where services are seen by Nottingham City Transport and CT4N.
