Nottingham City Transport 306 (31.01.2022)

Following on from the early morning spare operation on this side of the 8, branded operation tends to be the mainstay of it using any one of the eight MMC's. 306 is seen in Central Avenue, West Bridgford with an 8 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 349 (31.01.2022)

Currently one of the booked spare workings, the Bridgford Bus 8 route on this side of it starts out with any available spare before a switch to branded operation. 349, a new style spare Solo SR, heads on Bridgford Road with an 8 to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 354 'Helen Richardson-Walsh' (31.01.2022)

A welcome sight to this area considering the fact that this Solo SR was originally branded up for Bridgford Bus! Now in the new style spare livery here though 354 turns into Alford Road from Beckside with a 7 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 354 'Helen Richardson-Walsh' (31.01.2022)

After one or two cancellations on this route, this Solo SR was finally able to get going, so eventually a snap of it in service was on the cards. 354 turns left onto Beckside from Alford Road with a 7 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 354 'Helen Richardson-Walsh' (31.01.2022)

With the out of service blind set, 354, a new style spare Solo SR, heads past West Bridgford Town Centre with an empty move to Gamston to start service on the 7, its first run after this having seemingly been cancelled mind.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (31.01.2022)

Bridgford's have been seemingly been running with some spares daily of late, mainly on the midi-bus network, of which today saw the 5 included with one of the spares in the shape of this MMC, as illustrated here. 309 heads on Melton Road with a 5 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (31.01.2022)

The vice versa from the last post sees 309, the short wheelbase MMC spare, turn into Melton Gardens from Beckside with a 5 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (31.01.2022)

Always nice to see midi-bus spares of any type here, this area doesn't always get too many during the day, of which it got two, including this MMC! 309 turns into Beckside from Melton Gardens with a 5 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (31.01.2022)

Following on from the delivery of the of the bio-gas buses with the 17, 18 and 19 plate registrations, attention turned to ten 69 plate MMC's, eight for Bridgford Bus plus two spares, one short wheelbase and one long wheelbase. 309, the short wheelbase spare, turns right onto Melton Road with a 5 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (31.01.2022)

The short wheelbase MMC spare was given a decent enough leg stretch out on the Bridgford Bus 5 route today, a route that normally sees the Bridgford Bus branded variations during the day. 309 is seen in West Bridgford with a 5 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 919 (31.01.2022)

Always a nice sight to behold on Bridgford's are the OmniDekkas considering the fact that there will be less spares of this type at the very least! 919, one of the 61 plate variations, crosses the roundabout on Alford Road with a 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 919 (31.01.2022)

Only two diesel powered spares were on the bio-gas routes today, one of which just happened to oddly enough end up on the 6! 919 crosses the roundabout on Alford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 428 (31.01.2022)

With news that 23 bio-gas Scanias are currently in build, they will eventually join the existing ones in NCT's fleet. 428 in the new style spare livery takes the second turn to continue on Alford Road with a 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 428 (31.01.2022)

Always nice to see in the Sun are the bio-gas Scanias! A pity that the wind came about today though!

428 is seen heading on Alford Road over the roundabout with a Bridgford Bus 6 service to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 428 (31.01.2022)

The one other bio-gas spare operated 6 was rather mundanely provided by one of the 17 plates that came with the batch for the route, as illustrated here. 428 is seen in West Bridgford on a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 500 (31.01.2022)

Always a nice sight to behold on Bridgord's, this bio-gas Scania doesn't see too much use on the network, so I was happy to have caught up with it! 500 takes the roundabout straight over on Alford Road with a 6 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 500 (31.01.2022)

Not exactly the ideal location for the best viewpoints but I decided to take the chance at bus spotting on the roundabout connecting Alford Road, Beckside and Melton Gardens for a change of scenery! 500 takes the second turn to continue on Alford Road with a Bridgford Bus 6 service to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 500 (31.01.2022)

A heavy load of spares were in use on Bridgford's today, three of which were in use on the 6, two of which were gas, one of which being the celebrity variation, as illustrated here. 500 enters Central Avenue in West Bridgford with a 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 477 (31.01.2022)

Ruddy slow!

477, a silver spare bio-gas Scania, slowly crawls on Louughborough Road with a late running 10 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 477 (31.01.2022)

Ruddy fast!

477 heads on Loughborough Road with a green 10 service to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 920 (31.01.2022)

Changes to the fleet are currently occurring with NCT at the moment and it includes transfers of some of the 61 plate OmniDekkas to Trent Bridge presumably to help cover for the loss of some Enviro 200's to withdrawal. 920 is seen on Loughborough Road with a delayed extra 10X to City Loop, the delay being as a result of heavy traffic due to the closure of the nearby A52 due to a fire at a nearby industrial unit.

Nottingham City Transport 377 (29.01.2022)

Recent additions from Nottingham City Transport and Nottingham Express Transit have seen NHS organ donation adverts applied to a bus and a tram each. 377 sports its new pink advert on the rear whilst working a Bridgford Bus 5 service to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 377 (29.01.2022)

One of the more unusual Bridgford Bus routes saw a spare on it in the shape of this Enviro 200, as illustrated here. 377 heads on Melton Road with a 5 to Gamston. Quite an upgrade on this route... or so would be if the 12 plate Solo SR's were still in operation today!

Nottingham City Transport 349 (29.01.2022)

Over on the 7 was another one of the recently repainted Solo SR's from the pink 30/31, as illustrated here. 349 is seen in Trent Bridge, Victoria Embankment with a 7 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 350 (29.01.2022)

Slowly but surely the former pink 30/31 branded Optare Solo SR's are being repainted into the new style spare livery ahead of replacement on the pink 30 route by ADL Enviro 200's as is the current plan. 350 heads towards Trent Bridge with an 11 to Lady Bay.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (29.01.2022)

After the introduction of MMC's to Bridgford's with two spares also being in the batch, the withdrawal of the Y Reg Solos came and to be honest Trent Bridge depot never is the same without them although it is different with the MMC's now and two were snapped today, one being for Bridgford's and the other being the short wheelbase spare variation. 309 rests in the shed Trent Bridge with the passenger doors open.
