Nottingham City Transport 346 (28.07.2022)
One of the navy 3 branded Solo SR's ended up on Bridgford's, as illustrated here, and the 54B as well. 346 is seen on Musters Road with an 8 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 348 (28.07.2022)

The midi-route of the navy 3 was not predominantly midi operated today as this branded Solo SR was the sole midi out on the network as a whole! 348 is seen behind the metal fence on Loughborough Road with a 3 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 377 (28.07.2022)

Currently under construction is a new retail park on Bridgford Road and/or Loughborough Road, which is most likely to be completed in the next year or two. 377 is seen outside the site on Loughborough Road with a navy 3 service to Clifton.

Nottingham City Transport 377 (28.07.2022)

With 375 and 376 now allocated to the training team, it now leaves two 13 plate short E200's along with the 63 plate variation of the same size in passenger service. 377 heads towards Trent Bridge on a 3 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (28.07.2022)

After the navy 3 branded Solo SR of 346 ended up on Bridgford's followed on by the 54B and with another one of the same buses out of action, two non-midi spares were in use on the midi route, including this! 309, the short wheelbase MMC spare, is seen on Loughborough Road with a 3 to Clifton.

Trent Barton 175 (27.07.2022)

With 174 out on the H1 today, only this MMC spare was on the Rainbow One route today, as illustrated here. 175 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a Rainbow One from Heanor.

Trent Barton 713 (27.07.2022)

A familiar sight maybe since the Rapid One was withdrawn are Volvos on the One but the Rainbow route given it being the only one left. 713 in Mango colors is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a Rainbow One service to Ripley.

Trent Barton 715 (28.07.2022)

Three Volvos saw use on the Rainbow One route today, with one in 714 managing only two runs on the route with the other two operating on there for more runs! 715 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a Rainbow One from Heanor. In the end, this bus was probably 714's replacement on this route for the rest of the day.

Trent Barton 741 (26.07.2022)

Ex-red spare and Swift Volvo now spare again, this time as a Mango variation and today saw it on a regular route that it often covers in the Red Arrow, as illustrated here. 741 takes the roundabout right onto Derby Road with a Red Arrow to Derby.

Trent Barton 712 (26.07.2022)

While the Mango spare Versa of 846 started on The Sixes today before soon moving to the Red Arrow, this Mango spare B7RLE Eclipse started on the V1 before eventually moving to this route after a while. 712 is seen on South Sherwood Street with a Red Arrow from Derby.

Trent Barton 846 (26.07.2022)

The spare B7RLE's usually tend to see more use on the Red Arrow when required but at least one of Derby's two spare Versas does regularly fill in when required as well, as illustrated here. 846 is seen on Upper Parliament Street with a Red Arrow to Derby.

Trent Barton 216 (26.07.2022)

Traffic sandwich...

216, a Mango spare MMC, is seen on Wilford Lane with a Skylink Express to Nottingham. In the end, 663 had also been out on the route today and worked the later on evening runs, of which this bus had been due to do.

Trent Barton 110 (26.07.2022)

Seen taking the far left bus only lights, 110, a Mango spare MMC, operates a Skylink Express service to East Midlands Airport.

Trent Barton 217 (27.07.2022)

Seen on Melton Road, 217, a Mango spare MMC, operates a lightly loaded Keyworth service to Keyworth.

Trent Barton 217 (26.07.2022)

Considering the fact that Trent Barton have been short of drivers most days, seeing two spares on The Keyworth is certainly a rare sight, especially two MMC's as this was also on the route, as illustrated here. 217 heads on Melton Road with The Keyworth to Keyworth.

Trent Barton 109 (26.07.2022)

The future of the route one day!?

109, a Mango spare MMC, heads on Melton Road with The Keyworth to Keyworth.

Trent Barton 109 (26.07.2022)

As The Keyworth is currently without the branded Volvo of 730 due to it being VOR for the long term, the spare MMC's are tending to see cover on here when needed and 109 exemplifies this as it takes the diagonal left arrow towards Melton Road with The Keyworth to Keyworth.

Trent Barton 506 (26.07.2022)

Because Manvers Street garage has just the one midi route as it is, the one Solo SR spare based there tends to generally end up on MMC and saloon routes. Being a former Rushcliffe Greens Solo SR though, it tends to fill in for the branded Solo SRs on the one midi route in the Rushcliffe Villager (originally the Rushcliffe Greens) between Nottingham and Newton due to that route usually requiring two shorter buses most days as was the case here. 506 heads towards Trent Bridge on a Rushcliffe Villager service to Nottingham.

G725 FAB (26.07.2022)

A fourth-generation Ford Escort van made an appearance in Nottingham today and I was able to snap it in the right place at the right time! G725 FAB, complete with rear barn doors with glass windows on it, heads on Melton Road in West Bridgford.

Trent Barton 110 (19.07.2022)

Joining 109 on the Skylink Express route today was its 17 plate spare sister, as illustrated here. 110 is seen on Wilford Lane with a Skylink Express service to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 109 (19.07.2022)

Turned out that this Mango spare MMC was an Indigo worker later on in the evening presumably replacing a branded variation, so you could say that it was a busy day for this bus, which it was on this route given the fact that none of the usual branded Scanias were out today, it making for a bad day for the route as a whole! 109 is seen on Loughborough Road with a Skylink Express service to East Midlands Airport via the A453 Remembrance Way.

Trent Barton 109 (19.07.2022)

Also on the Skylink Express route today, a pair of Mango spare MMC's...

109 is seen having turned onto Wilford Lane with a Skylink Express service to East Midlands Airport via the A453 Remembrance Way.

Trent Barton 657 (19.07.2022)

With the Wrightbus logo on the back, 657, an ex-Sixes Scania, turns left onto Loughborough Road with a Skylink Express service to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 657 (19.07.2022)

With at least two branded Scanias off the road currently, the ex-Sixes Scania is continuing to see use on the Skylink Express as a result. 657 heads towards Trent Bridge on a Skylink Express service to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 744 (19.07.2022)

All boards on the Skylink Express route were in the hands of spares today, with two Mango MMC's, the ex-Sixes Scania and this red spare Volvo all seeing use on there. 744 is seen on Loughborough Road with a Skylink Express service to East Midlands Airport via the A453 Remembrance Way.

Trent Barton 506 (19.07.2022)

While Derby have the Solo SR's of 502 and 503 in the Mango livery, Nottingham has this one in the red spare livery, as illustrated here. 506 heads onto Loughborough Road from Melton Road on The Keyworth to Nottingham.

Trent Barton 506 (19.07.2022)

On what was a hot day, a couple of red hot spares were well worthy of documenting, including this Solo SR on The Keyworth! 506 heads on Melton Road working a service to Nottingham from Keyworth.

Sunday, 17 July 2022

Nottingham City Transport 999 (14.07.2022)

The on-loan electric bus was out on Bridgford's today replacing one of the usual branded MMC's, as illustrated here. 999 arrives at Mellors Road bus stop on Melton Road with a 5 to City Loop.
