Nottingham City Transport 349 (28.04.2023)

Nottingham City Transport 349 (28.04.2023)

The cause of 334's appearance elsewhere was a spare on the green 11 route instead if a rather mundane Solo SR allocation as usual, as illustrated here. 349 is seen outside Victoria Centre with an 11 to Lady Bay.

A run on the 33 as far as Gamston operated by NottsBus Connect was on the cards in order to catch up with this Solo SR for a trip back to the City from here, as illustrated. 334 arrives at Gamston with a 7 from Nottingham.

What could have been were the 12 plates plus 330 were repainted into the revised Bridgford Bus livery before their replacement. Now it is known that all of the single-decker diesel powered fleet are to be replaced by Yutongs, even new liveried buses like these will eventually be replaced for good. 334 is seen on Angel Row with a 7 to Gamston.

Back on the wrong side of the green network to normal, 334 branded foe the green 11 route heads on Bridgford Road with a 7 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 334 'Amanda Ogelsby' (28.04.2023)

A first capture of the day of the green 11 Solo SR even before further work took place on Bridgford Bus saw me get it on one of the two additional Bridgford Bus workings before its work on the additional 54B that followed it. 334 is seen on Musters Road with an 8 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 340 (28.04.2023)

Eventual replacement by the Yutongs means that the remaining three old liveried blue Solo SR's will be staying as they are until they are withdrawn. 340 heads on Bridgford Road with the additional 5 to Gamston.

Nottingham City Transport 307 'Gary Parr' (28.04.2023)

Following replacement on the 7 from the green 11 branded Solo SR of 334, Bridgford's again was on the order for this MMC after having done work on the pink dupes beforehand. 307 heads on Bridgford Road with a 9 to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 345 (28.04.2023)

Also on the 46/47 circuit today following the appearance on the morning pink dupes for the branded E200 of 386 was one of the 61 plate Solo SR's, as illustrated here. 345 is seen ouside Nottingham's Victoria Centre with a 46 to Woodborough and Lambley.

Nottingham City Transport 309 (28.04.2023)

As my 10 was approaching, it left me with no choice but to see the short wheelbase MMC on the 46/47 from not the best place as a result. 309 turns into Milton Street with a 47 to Lambley and Woodborough.

Nottingham City Transport 385 (28.04.2023)

Sadly didn't get the spare Solo SR of 335 that replaced this spare E200 on this route today but at least this spare itself will suffice!

385 turns right onto Upper Parliament Street with a 30 to Wollaton, supposedly usually operated by a full length spare E200 but not in this case.

Nottingham City Transport 335 (28.04.2023)

Before presumably being replaced by the full length MMC spare of 399 on this route, this spare Solo SR was to be seen on it, as illustrated here. 335 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 39 to Carlton Valley. In the end, this bus replaced the spare Solo SR of 353 on the 53/54 before it came back on before then moving to the 30 replacing the short E200 spare of 385.

Nottingham City Transport 398 (28.04.2023)

A slight shortfall in the number of available branded buses for the 39 today left some form of silver spare action on the route, 398, the original full length spare E200, being one such bus out there, it seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 399 (28.04.2023)

Normal service resumed...

399 is seen on Lower Parliament Street with a 39 to Carlton Valley.

Nottingham City Transport 399 (28.04.2023)

After all of the double-decker spares except the E400 of 612, which was used on this route later, were taken up from the start, the sole stretch E200 MMC was on the University extras, as illustrated here. 399 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 4 to Clifton Campus.

Nottingham City Transport 640 (28.04.2023)

A chance encounter on my way into Nottingham this morning saw me catch up with the first E400 that I saw on the Uni 4 route. 640 is seen on Meadows Way with a 4 to Clifton Campus.

Nottingham City Transport 612 (28.04.2023)

With both of the OmniDekkas out on the 1 today, it meant that once this E400 replaced the branded OmniDekka of presumably 930 (baring in mind that 932 also came off) after being replaced on the 1 by the branded E400 of 646, both of the spare E400's were out on the 4 today and briefly after working the extra 1 the branded E400 for the route in 641. As good as that would have been though, only the spare E400's were snapped today, the second being 612, it seen on Carrington Street with a 4 to City Campus.

Nottingham City Transport 925 (28.04.2023)

The only other remaining OmniDekka spare left is this ex-Lilac 27 variant currently plying its trade at Trent Bridge alongside 907, both having moved from Parliament Street for predominant use on the 4 although they can turn up anywhere else when required. 925 is seen arriving into Nottinghsm with a 1 from Loughborough.

Nottingham City Transport 907 (28.04.2023)

Both of the remaining spare OmniDekkas were out on the 1 today, so both were a must for documenting as a result. 907 heads past Nottingham Station with a 1 to Loughborough.

Trent Barton 744 (26.04.2023)

Seen in Nottingham with a Skylink Express working from East Midlands Airport.

Trent Barton 725 (26.04.2023)

The unusual dwindling number of MMC appearances on this route of late has been surprising to say the least considering their common call ups to it when needed. It seems as if the red spares have been most favored to it mind, most recently this Eclipse, as shown here. 725 is seen having left Broadmarsh Bus Station behind with The Keyworth to Keyworth via Tollerton and Plumtree.

Trent Barton 669 (26.09.2023)

Hotline red spare...

669, a Scania L94UB Wright-Solar formerly branded for the Skylink Nottingham route before becoming a Hugo spare in red, is seen on Canal Street on the approach to Broadmarsh Bus Station with an express Mainline service to Bingham via the A52 and Radcliffe.

Trent Barton 506 (26.04.2023)

Seen having left Broadmarsh Bus Station behind on The Cotgrave to Cotgrave.
