Nottingham City Transport 611 (31.07.2024)

After 403's replacement on the 6 in 501 decided to replace the orange 35/36 branded 451 on the 35 later on in the evening, an unexpected appearance of the Hits Radio advertised E400 on the 6 occurred, so I set out to catch up with it. 611 is seen on Stamford Road with a 6 to City Loop.

Whilst heading up to catch up with an OmniDekka on Bridgford's, a diesel E400 turned up on the 10 at the right time! 601 heads on Rugby Road with a 10 to City Loop. In the end, this bus moved to the evening extras for the brown 15/16/16C before replacing 633, another diesel E400, on the 35/36 late, and all that after being replaced on this route by the branded bio-gas Scania of 407.

Although this 19 plate bio-gas spare did replace the orange 35/36 branded bio-gas Scania of 451 on the 35 later on in the evening, the two green routes that this worked on were the priority snaps for today, them being the 10 and the 6 after the branded vehicles of  405 and 403 came on and off respectively. 501 is seen on Carrington Street with a 10X to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 219 (29.07.2024)

Ahead of the new Yutongs that are due to hit the road on Bridgford Bus next year, test runs appear to be taking place on the 6 at present for some reason, with this blue Yutong today's allocation to it. 219 turns into Bridgford Road out of service on a test run to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 477 (29.07.2024)

A multitude of route operations occurred for this 19 plate bio-gas spare today, firstly seeing use on the 77 prior to the branded vehicle of 516 being declared available for service, then the 49 after the branded vehicle of 490 was effectively subbed in the depot after having been on the route for the morning peak and then finally the 10 after the branded vehicle of 409 decided to come off late. 477 is seen on Loughborough Road with a 10 to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 603 (29.07.2024)

A couple of bus swaps occurred on the 10 today, one of which was more significant than the other after it saw the Pride E400 coming out to replaced the branded bio-gas Scania of 409, which came as a surprise to me, more so given the fact that a lot of swaps have been involving silver spares, so when I was greeted with this, a documentation of the E400 was required. 603 arrives at Victoria Centre with the blind set to do the next 10 to Ruddington.

Nottingham City Transport 612 (29.07.2024)
