Nottingham City Transport 602 (28.09.2024)

In amongst the extra services, all diesel E400 operated and 615 and 634 of which made temporary appearances on the 6 to/from Gamston to cover for late running to branded buses, there was a diesel E400 on one of the main boards of the 6, as illustrated here. 602 is seen at Victoria Centre with a 6 to Gamston. In the end, 660, the Hits Radio advertised E400, which replaced a sky blue branded bio-gas Scania on the 60 earler on in the day, did later replace a green branded bio-gas Scania on the 6 but no snap was possible on that occasion.

Nottingham City Transport 615 (28.09.2024)

Bustines advertised this as a 10 but this was advertising a 6 according to the display, which is what we should probably go with for this one as we see 615 head towards the bus stop at Victoria Embankment to get ready to work an additional short 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 634 (28.09.2024)

Behind the orange 34 branded E400 was one of the generic spares, as illustrated here. 634 is seen at Victoria Embankment with an additional short 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 626 (28.09.2024)

Behind the red 43 E400 was an orange 34 branded E400, as illustrated here. 626 is seen at Victoria Embankment with an additional short 10 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 610 (28.09.2024)

When there are Forest home games taking place, it often tends to be a lottery as to who operates the extra services whether it be NCT or Skills and today saw NCT step in with some additional buses to help out, including, unusually, this red 43 branded E400! 610 is seen at Victoria Embankment with an additional short 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham Express Transit 202 'DH Lawrence' (28.09.2024)

Complete with odd panels, one of which visible in shot, plus a probable non-original window, 202 waits for the all clear to proceed up Market Street as it works a Clifton South to Phoenix Park service.

Nottingham Express Transit 202 'DH Lawrence' (28.09.2024)

Nottingham Express Transit 206 'Angela Alcock' (28.09.2024)

Now here's something that's interesting to come across! A tram with Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall advertising outside the building itself!

206 arrives, stops and departs Royal Centre with a Phoenix Park to Clifton South service.

Nottingham Express Transit 236 'Sat Bains' (28.09.2024)

Seen stopping at Royal Centre with a Toton Lane to Hucknall service.

Nottingham Express Transit 234 'George Africanus' (28.09.2024)

After a last-minute deal meant that the strike with NET was called off, a full service was operating on the day after a reduced service was in operation, seeing the phase 2 network reinstated. 234 is seen arriving, stopping and departing Royal Centre with a Hucknall to Toton Lane service.

Nottingham City Transport 661/402 (26.09.2024)

661, a new style spare E400, had been out on the 6 for one run but this one of the branded bio-gas Scanias was declared available for service very early on and so the buses were swapped at Victoria Centre, the spare seeing later on use on the extra 77. 661 is seen now out of service as 402 spends the rest of the day on 6's to/from Ga,ston.

Nottingham City Transport 661 (26.09.2024)

The 65 plate E400 spares can be hard to find on some of the bio-gas routes, particularly the 6 but today saw me snap one up on it, as illustrated here. 661 is seen arriving at Trevor Road with a 6 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 351 (26.09.2024)

On the 11/11A today was one of the 61 plate Solo SRs, as illustrated here. 351 is seen about to turn off Upper Parliament Street with an 11 to Lady Bay.

Nottingham City Transport 356 (26.09.2024)

Despite the shortage of buses at Trent Bridge today, NCT were still able to put a Solo SR out on the pink dupes and then the 5, as illustrated here. 356 is seen turning into Bridgford Road with a 5 to Edwalton.

Nottingham City Transport 352 (26.09.2024)

Bridgford Bus has seen a fair few spares on it of late on any route there is and today saw this 61 plate Solo SR out on the 8, as illustrated here. 352 is seen turning into Angel Row with an 8 to Wilford Hill.
