Nottingham City Transport 611 (27.11.2025)

Whilst almost all of the football extras were bio-gas today, one of the diesel E400's did come out to play for something different and it was the ex-red 43 example too! 611 is seen on Meadows Way having left Victoria Embankment running an advertised 10 to Nottingham. In the end, before seeing use on the football shuttles, this bus had been on the 44 before being replaced by the branded bio-gas Scania of 414, which was replaced by the branded bio-gas Scania of 416 on the same route and all that some of the many bus swaps on the 44 that took place with works at the bio-gas refuelling station taking shape.

Seen leaving Victoria Embankment with an advertised 6 to Nottingham conveying supporters from the Forest and Malmo Europa League match, the bus having been on the 89 all day before then.

Seen at Victoria Embankment prior to operating a special event service to Nottingham advertised as an 8, the bus having spent the day on the 24/25 before then.

After having been in both 100th bio-gas liveries, then plain silver and then the allover advert for the best company in 2024, this bio-gas spare is once again back in plain silver, which I can only assume that it's going to be staying in permanently, thus making it the first permanent silver spare since the demise of the previous silver livery albeit with the rainbow swoops on. 500 is seen at Victoria Embankment with a 10 to City Loop.

Nottingham City Transport 432 (27.11.2025)

After a green 10 branded bio-gas ended up on one of the four morning A2 school runs and with another green 10 branded bio-gas not out, two bio-gas spare examples were out on the 10 instead, with the plain silver example and this silver and teal example in attendance on the route. 432 heads towards Trent Bridge with a 10 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 662 (27.11.2025)

Now with a white rear blind, 662, an E400 spare, works on the usually bio-gas operated 6 as it makes a stop along the way on Bridgford Road with a Gamston service.

Nottingham City Transport 633 (27.11.2025)

The new five bus timetable is often seeing more than one spare on the 6 as was the case today with two diesel E400's on duty. 633 is seen on Bridgford Road with a 6 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 635 (27.11.2025)

A rare sight to see of an E400 decker on the 9 with at least two passengers on the upper deck and I can only assume that the withdrawals of the diesel fleet essentially mean that just any sized bus is seeing use on it as and when needed due to an occasional lack of single-deckers. 635 is seen on Bridgford Road with a 9 to Wilford Hill.

637, a diesel E400 decker, had been out on the 9 but this one of the branded Yutong E10's was declared available for service an hour or so before lunch and so the buses were changed at Trent Bridge and right behind another bus swap on the South Notts 1 route. 635 is seen at Victoria Embankment having taken a 9 in from Nottingham as 267 then departs after the bus swap with the rest of the journey to Wilford Hill, the Bridgford Bus E10 having earlier seen temporary use on the sky blue 61 route in lieu of a temporary issue with one of their buses.

Nottingham City Transport 351 (27.11.2025)

Before an E400 decker appeared on the 9 in the opposite direction, a Solo SR turned up on the same route towards Nottingham. 351 is seen on Bridgford Road with its Nottingham bound 9.

With the Solo SR's running on borrowed time with NCT, it's a case of getting them whilst you can before the new batch of Yutongs fully take over. 353 is seen on Bridgford Road with an 8 to Wilford Hill.

Nottingham City Transport 356 (27.11.2025)

With the Solo SR's not nornally used on the Cropwell Bishop diagrams for the 11, they tend to work on the shorter formed 11, 11B and 11C diagrams due to their diesel engines capable at handing shorter routes compared to the windy roads round Tollerton, Cotgrave and Cropwell Bishop. 356 is seen approaching Trent Bridge on an 11 to Nottingham.

Nottingham City Transport 359 (27.11.2025)

A couple of grey lines made late appearances today, both after having been on their own network and one after having also been on the extras for the 53B, 34 and 54B extras before its main grey work in lieu of a failed Solo SR in the form of 345. For one of the grey lines in the form of 358, an evening on the 48X replacing the branded Yutong E12 of 216 was on the cards whilst this one was out on the 11 after taking over from the branded Yutong E10 of 253. 359 is seen at Victoria Embankment with an 11 to Nottingham.

Seen turning into Radcliffe Road with a 11 to Cropwell Bishop.

Nottingham City Transport 284 (27.11.2025)

The latest new Yutong E10 arrivals to NCT are a batch of 11 spares but with the E12 displays fitted on instead due to blind issues that have affected the E10 displays on the original batch of E10's plus the E12's branded for the 48. 284 is seen at Nottingham Station in its new livery with a 5 to Edwalton, the bus having earlier seen use on the pink extras for the 30 and 28.

Before the next Bridgford Bus extra with one of the newer Yutongs appeared, the Bridgford Bus ine turned up with one of their own buses, which would have done the blue 40/41/42 extras beforehand. 265 is seen on Carrington Street with a 9B to Wilford Hill.

Amidst the bus swaps on this route, the only Solo SR to stay put on here was the sole 11 plate example, soon to be withdrawn once the new Yutongs enter traffic. 330 is seem on Milton Street with a 70B to Bulwell.

252, a spare Yutong E10, had been out on the 61 but the branded vehicle was available for service very late on in the evening and so the buses were replaced on Upper Parliament Street. 252 heads empty to Trent Bridge as 281 takes away a 61 to Calverton.

273 is seen outside Victoria Centre with the blind set for the next 70B to Bulwell, the bus having earlier replaced the spare Solo SR of 351.
