Well this might turn out to be a big oddity here because a five car 170 was in use on one of the Birmingham New Street/Cardiff Central runs on a particular service that usually uses four! I wonder if Black Friday was the reason why they decided to put a five car set on here then! 170103 is seen here at Nottingham Station on platform 7 with 170117 also in the set, the set itself resting between trips, the next trip being the 14:41 service to Birmingham New Street.
