Because of stock shortages, East Midlands Trains have seen regular use for class 222's on the Lincoln/Leicester local stopping services, generally on Monday and Friday and today was when there was no doubt about one being on there. I have got to admit that these trains provide a nice upgrade to the service and I think these would suit the service more than the 156's and 158's usually allocated! 222103 is seen here arriving into Nottingham Station with the 13:29 service to Lincoln Central.
